My New Texas A&M AA Cheerleader Doll Arrived In The Mail!

Hey Gang!

Today my new Texas A&M AA Cheerleader dolls arrived in the mail.  I came home
to find this going on in my hallway......

 Khadijah:  Are you nervous?  

Brandon:  Yes!

Khadijah:  Don't be nervous!  It happened to me and I am better

 for it. I'm here to support you!

Fatimah:   And I am here to support both of you!  It happened to me too!  

I had one of those MM bodies like you Brandon and I'm just fine!

 Khadijah:  So why are you here?  

Artsy:  I have heard a lot about these head swaps but have never seen one.

Fatimah:  Don't worry about her.  She probably just a donor.  

She won't be here too long!

Artsy:   Hey, I heard that.  My head isn't all that big and I got great face paint.  

I might stick around.

 Artsy:  You don't look all that different from me and you're here! 

 Khadijah:  So, why are you here?

Ghana Barbie:  This is my furniture you all are sitting on.  I am here to make sure
it goes back in the upstairs hallway when you are done.

 Fashionista Ryan: Am I too late?

Fahionista Ryan:  Is this... him?

 Fashionista Ryan:  I am to be a comparison body to him.  I am dying to see him and what he can do!

 Brandon:  Now I am getting really nervous! 

Khadijah:  Why?

 Brandon:  What if Ms. Leo doesn't give me the new body.  What if 

my complexion is wrong or something?  What if his head is better than mine?

I could get sold and I would never see you again!

 Khadijah: Ms. Leo wouldn't do that. right Ms. Leo?

Ms. Leo: Ah, ...oh,   Well, I can't make any promises but it is my 

plan to re-body him.

 Elsa: Hey,hey, hey!  I heard that there are cute guys around.

Elsa: Oh, your cute!

Khadijah:   Look Miss, this is my boyfriend's re-boding.  

He's got a girlfriend....me!

Elsa:  Hey, nothing around here is written in stone.  You're one person's love 

interest today and somebody else's tomorrow!  You got to fight to be here!

 Fatimah: Don't worry sis!  I take care of her! Is it a fight you want?

Bea: Am I  too late?  Is he here?

Artsy:  Now this looks interesting! He, he. Where is the popcorn!

Bea: I heard that the new Cheerleader AA Ken had arrived!  

Wow, this box is sooo big!

 Khadijah:  Now I am worried!

Elsa:  Do you have a girlfriend?   

Fashionista Ryan: I am only seventeen!

Elsa:  That doesn't matter to me!

 Brandon:  I love you and you have nothing to worry about! OK!

Khadijah:  OK!

Bea: I was told that there were two in this box, girl.  So stop tripping!

Meet The Greens!

Meet the Greens!
This is Grant Green and his wife Adallah.

Grant is the owner of the Green Fund. The Green Fund
finds investment businesses in emerging markets. He met
Adallah while she was studying and working as a translator.
Grant is Camille's younger brother.

Sister and Brother!

Grant has moved to the U.S. so that his families can get to
know each other better and so his wife won't be alone when
he is on business trips.

Khadijah

Is wear a pretty pink and white flowered top with a
bow on one shoulder. You met her on
Valentines' Day

Jameelah

You met on her first day at work.
She is the baby sister. She wears cute
pink top with a picture of a girl smiling.
It is a great top for her because she love to smile!

Fatimah

She wears a light and dark blue with white graphic top.
It has cute neckline and shoulders. She is the oldest
of the sisters..

Mom and daughters!

Here they are with their mom Adallah Green. They look
like their dad's side of the family but the they have their
mother's exotic baring.

Recent Head Swaps!

New Head Swap Dolls

Like I mentioned before, many of the off brand dolls
have great faces! Unfortunately their bodies are a
different story. Often the break easily and are poorly
designed like the Imani dolls. Despite what many be
happening with newer dolls, the Mattel bodies were
made well. So I have decided to give some off brand
dolls Mattel bodies.

First is Kari Michelle!
I think we all have purchase Kari Michelle clothes.
They are inexpensive and not to bad of a quality.
When the doll first started appearing in stores, you
got the doll and several outfits too! Now the doll is
sold by itself with one outfit and extra outfits are sold
separately.

I just love all the set with the tops and the coats!
I have about six. The pants don't fit BB bodies!

I had some heads sit around, some bodies that I
wasn't sure what I would do with the and I liked
her smiling face. So, I re-bodies her on a Fashion
Fever AA-big foot body. Yes, I know your saying,
Ms. Leo, you don't like the big feet, you can't find
shoes for them.


Well I found I few pairs of shoes

Dressy

and those bodies don't sell well. Also, you always need
gals GI Joe size. I might as well do something with it.

Next up --This doll!
I posted about her before. I like the face. The
eyelashes were a bit much. I had some paint I was
experimenting with that calmed them down some so I
decided to re-body her onto a standard AA Barbie body-
medium brown.

My finished product-Adallah (a dollar is what I paid for her)
She will be Khadijah's Mom.

Lastly, I found a Kristi Yamaguchi doll in the thrift store.



I purchased her because she was an Asian face but I did
like the body. I also thought the body was too tall. I
re-bodied her onto a Generation Chelsea body. I liked
her better on it. Of course I will have to change the
nail color on her. Oh and she will be my first Villain
in doll world. Well... maybe not a villain but an annoyance
She is going to be one of those people who eavesdrops,
gossips and get the story wrong. She doesn't hear very
well is the reason she gets the story wrong but there
is no excuse for her other two bad habits.

Khadijah’s first Valentines Day!

Peter's Bistro

Brandon had been tutoring Khadijah in chemistry for three

months. They met twice a week at the local coffee shop.

During their session, he had come to appreciate her intellect,

her grace and charm and her beauty. He looked forward to

the time spent with her and he would like more! Being new

the US, Khadijah is still learning the traditions.

Brandon asked Khadijah to lunch on Valentines Day week.

He asked out to one of his favorite places, Peter’s Bistro.

They took a seat and chatted while waiting to be served

He had brought her a present. He hoped to take their

relationship up a notch.... more than just friends.

Brandon: They have excellent cappuccino here. It is one

my favorite things to have here.

Khadijah: That’s good. The coffee at the shop near school

isn’t the best.

Brandon: Is that why you order the tea? He knew she

liked coffee.

Khadijah: Yes, but it isn’t too good either. They use bags.

I guess I am use to coffee and tea in the Middle East and the

Mediterranean. I can’t get use to instant!

He found himself drowning in her eyes!


He clutched the bag.

Brandon: If you don’t mind, I would like to order for you.

Khadijah: Oh no, go right ahead! She thought most American

men were so passive. It was nice to be with one who could

take charge.

Edwige came over to take their order. She noticed the bag on

the floor and smiled to herself. Amour! ...

Bonjour ! Bonjour Brandon. Edwige spoke in a Haitian Creole

that Brandon was able to follow. It was different than the French that

Khadijah spoke in North Africa but she could follow too.

He spoke in french and asked for two cappuccinos very

strong and two burgers. He notice that Khadihah had

acquired the taste for American burgers too.

Khadijah: I didn’t know you spoke French?

Brandon: It is not classic French. I am working on that. It

is the Creole we speak in Mississippi. Her French is a Creole

that they speak in Haiti. Together we manage! He smiled.

Khadijah could tell that Edwige thought highly of him.

Khadijah: This is really good coffee!

Edwige told them she would be back with the burgers

tut sweet.

Khadijah: How long have you lived here and what made

you move?

Brandon: I’ve been here six months and I came when my

dad was stationed here.

He is in the military. Brandon was pleased.

They were getting to know each other personally. They

were getting pass formulas to real chemistry.
Another costumer came in and Edwige seated her and took

her order as the couple chatted.

Khadijah: These are really great burgers!
Brandon: I noticed that you really like burgers!
Khadijah: What else do you notice? She said jokingly.

Brandon: I notice everything about you!

He stared at her intensely.

Khadijah looked down. She could feel herself blush. She ate her

burger until she felt controlled enough to look up. When she

looked up, she smiled. It was Brandon’s turn to blush. Brandon

thought that it was the time to give her the present.

I brought this for you. Happy Valentines day.

Khadijah : Oh how nice of you. I am sorry but I don’t have

a present for you. I didn’t know we should exchanges gifts.

Is that what the tutored do?

Brandon: No it is not. I think you are the smartest and

sweets person I have ever met. I want to be more than

that to you.

Khadijah: Brandon, You are the kindest and smartest man

and I like you too but...

for us to be more than friends, you will

have to speak to my father. We are still a little traditional


Brandon being a southern gentleman, he said:

No problem. I will speak to your father. It is the right

thing to do.

They sat and talked while waiting for the check.

It was a great first date.
It was Khadijah’s first Valentines Day.
