Birthday Presents To Me!

Hey Gang!

While I was away for the Phila. Flower Show, I had a birthday! WooHoo!
I am 29 again!😃

I purchased a few inexpensive doll stuff for myself for my birthday.  I bought
some expensive plants for my birthday too.  I will share with you my doll stuff!

First up is the My Life As-Reversible Background! 

I have seen them at Walmart for a while.  And many of you have purchased them.

I thought their scale was off but I think I can make this one work!  For

$2.00 I am going to give it a try. I still think the scale on the others is off.  I

may change my mind.

OK, let's give it a look!  Because the grass in the park scene is lighter than what I 

normally used as grass, I purchased a light green tablecloth to serve as grass!

 I have to work with it to eliminate the glare but not bad!

 Might need to do a low-temperature press on the tablecloth too!

I can see where it could be a great thing for quick dios for my dolls!

I have a brown bench that would work well here that I need to find.

I can see that many of my dolls will be hanging out in the Park!  I think the park
will be in the center of town and many dolls will have to cross it on their way to
places!

Which Body Do You Like Better?

Hey Gang!

I purchase the AA Babysitters Inc. Doll!  I found her at a Target.  Everyone else seems
to have found them in Wal-Mart.

Her name is LaToya! She looks like a LaToya to me! She looks like one of those
girls you grew up with who was always involved in everything and having lot of fun!

As you may know, I don't like that bent arm thing!  Who told Mattel that bent arms were
cool? 

On this one, the quality on the bent arm wasn't so good either.

 So I rebodied her! I think I like her this way!  Many of my other Skipper size dolls have
similar bodies.

Because of her complexion, she works very well on a HSM Taylor body!

Not all of the other Babysitter dolls will be able to use the HSM bodies.

I like her outfit and other dolls her like it too! 

Vanessa looks good in it too!

I purchase another Babysitter too!  I show her later! but LaToya loves her dress!

 The color and style of this dress has a ready for church or dressed up look!

My Sweet Petites!

Hey gang!

Besides my purchase of two Tall Barbies and one Curvy Barbie, I did purchase two Petite Barbies!
So her they are!

Blue Brocade!

Yes she does have a face close to the SIS Chandra but I got here anyway!
Her eyes don't look sideways.  I debating her body thou.

She has the Skipper head but I just love the hair, the complexion and coloring

No shoe sharing for these two for now!

I put her in Moana's outfit to see how it looks!  A little tight in the back of the top
but not too bad.  The outfit looks kinda nice on her.

Many have shown her compared to Skipper and the regular barbie.  I think a closer
comparison is the Fashion Fever body or the "troll body" as it was called.  So here
is the comparison.

The torso is about the same but the legs are longer...

but the troll has click bend knees!  For play, that is a big difference!

the breast are a tad higher and the chest is a little wider.

I might change out the head on my old Chandra that I had to paint the eyes!

She likes this old Fashion Fever skirt with the Sparkle top!
