On The Craft Table!

 Hey Gang!

On the craft table right now is:

Sofas

 The sofas I got from the Dollar Tree.  

I painted them brown. It is a bit shiny I might need a matte sealer.

I had more but not a lot of brown spray paint than any other color. I don't think I will 

use it on the underside. I am thinking about gluing cardboard to the back and 

painting that will acrylic paint.

I have see people cover them with fabric too! Maybe next time.

Next is bread!

I have a bakery and market diorama planned so I made some break for it.

Three styles of loaves of bread and bagels. Two lost the inter circle so they look more like rolls

I might need to make a few more. 

It was kinda easy to make. I used My Froggy Stuff video recipes for both.

The two loaves on the right are salt dough and the other is cornstarch dough. 

I colored the with makeup like in the videos.

Next up is Gift cards and rack

I made a rack for gift cards.  I am not sure where I will use it for but I know I wanted

to make it.

There are little shelves to hold the cards.

I made the cards for newspaper circulars.

I cut them out and glued them to cardboard.

All of these crafts take a good amount of time.  I would imagine My Froggy Stuff

must spend a lot of time on all her crafts.  She is probably faster than me at it.

The time issue was a reason I haven't done more in the past. Like many of you,

I have more time now.

I love a good no sew doll clothes DIY project and I love to make doll
clothes out of things I already have or can buy for cheap!  In this
video it show how to make Ken hoodie and knit pants out socks!
So I don't have to through away those socks that have holes in the
toe!

Video Of the Month! My Froggy Stuff!

Hey Gang!

I have been a follower of My Froggy Stuff for a while!  Mostly I just watch
the videos! There is a really long selection. I have only tried a few repaints
of dolls like she have done.

I while back a got a load of popsicle sticks and wooden stirrers.  So I have
been slowly trying some of the My Froggy Stuff projects.

I am sure many of you have seen the videos too! In the beginning of the
videos there is a list of supplies. Glue is always mentioned. Glue sticks,
liquid glue and hot glue are shown.   What you really need to know, is
when you switch from one to the other.  In the videos when working
with popsicle sticks and wooden stirrers, they start our with liquid glue
like Mod Podge. But if you try the project, you will realize that Mod
Podge won't work for somethings.  You will need to switch to hot glue
which is drys faster and holds together better.  Also be prepared to have
and use a lot of sticks and time!

I made a wooden shelf and wooden crates.  The shelf I made was from this video.
Here is my version.  It is not an exact copy but here it is!

I think I will paint it and use it for a florist shop!  If you have any ideas, I would love
to hear them.

I did paint the crates gray metal color. I hope to use it for a my market.  I really need to
both of these set up! If you have ever seen the My Froggy Stuff live videos, you will see
that they have a whole room for all their doll stuff.  I am starting to feel like a need
a room too!

Outfits For Little Ones!

Crochet Items!

Vanessa of Fashion Dolls of Van’s Doll Treasures had “suggested”
that I use a smaller crochet hood to make some doll things.
I finally got around to following up on that!

So Vanessa... here are the items I made! This outfit reminds me
of an Easter ensemble. I have Meadow modeling this outfit.
Doesn’t she look sweet!

Next is....

This baby doesn’t have a name or family yet. She is modeling this
dress, diaper cover and blanket.
I love the diaper cover!

We have to keep you warm! 

I think I'll try boy items next.

I might have to put these items on Esty.

Sweater Play!

Fall Sweater Play!

I sill have yarn from the poncho, scarfs and hats. I have
not seen many Barbie size crochet sweater patterns so I
have had to try and make my own. I am playing around
with size and shape.

I also have a new background. I think it doesn't allow
my camera to focus well. I playing around with it too.
I'm calling it a misty fall morning!

So, here is what I came up with.

I made two sweaters.


My small sweater.
