Adding More Refreshed Fresh Dolls!

 Hey Gang!

I added three Fresh dolls (maybe 4) to my collection. 

Grabrielle, Mia wave #1 and Mia wave #2!

Gisele,Desire', and Deeana

These three dolls have been placed on the bodies with the longer necks. I like the look of Fresh doll on that body the best. I found wave #1 Mia and Gabrielle with some Fresh doll fashions at a thrift store.  I purchased some heads, clothing, and longer-neck bodies on FB. Shout out to the Fresh Doll FB groups.

My Fresh Dolls story thus far!

Wave #1

The Fresh Dolls were launched in 2017. For the longest time, I only had Lynette from wave #1. It seems they were a little hard to find in my area. When wave #1 came out, I was not willing to pay shipping for Playline dolls. So, some of the rest of the dolls I wanted, Jacqueline, Mia, and Gabrielle, I didn't get. Only one fashion pack was available here, too.

Wave #2

When wave #2 was released, the same thing happened, but even worse. The company released male dolls that weren't being sold in all my local stores. If I wanted those handsome men, I had to pony up for shipping. I got them all at a price that I was not used to paying for dolls. I was impressed with these male dolls.

I expect the girls from wave #2 to show up in stores because they were cheaper. I didn't want to pay that shipping. Well, they didn't, and I wanted them all. Oh well! There were no fashion packs either. This was also when toy stores in my area started closing. This made finding any dolls by all manufacturers slim.

Wave #3

By the time we got to wave # 3, I wasn't as impressed with what was being offered.

I only wanted Lynette. Not enough to order her, but hoping she would show up in a nearby store. She did show up. Yeah! I love her hair and outfit. Still no fashion packs 

I was also starting to see some older Fresh doll fashion packs showing up at discount stores. That was a plus.

Wave #4.

I was totally disappointed in wave #4!

The heads were too large, and some of the hair colors were strange. Surprise, surprise! All of these dolls were in my local stores. They even went on markdown.

Then I saw someone post that the older dolls looked better on the longer neck of this wave. I tried it on my Lynette.

WOW! She looks a lot better!

I started scooping up the discounted Wave #4 dolls for transplant. A FB friend had dolls that she was willing to give away!

My new Lynette received a new body. I purchased Aria and Aleyna on eBay. I knew if I wanted them, I'd better do it now. I loved their outfits.  They received new bodies, too.

Wave #5.

Then Wave #5 came out! Woo Hoo! Dr. Lisa previewed them in a live video.

I was able to find many of the girls in stores in my area! Dr. Lisa said this wave would have longer necks and smaller heads.  You have to check! This is easier to do if you purchase in a store.  A few people told me that the dolls they purchased had short necks. All the dolls have wrap-style outfits, called Xfinity Wear, that can be worn in different ways.

I have Aniyah! Her black skin is so pretty!.

I've also added Carissa.  I have to purchase her twice to get one with the longer neck.

I found Keyisha for $7.00 at Roses.

The guys blow me away! They are called Platinum!

I knew they would never hit the stores! They have great outfits. They were heavily promoted on online and TV shows (The View, J-Hud, and  Sherri Shepherd). There were discount codes! Fresh Squad Amari, Anthony, and Miles.

I was able to purchase the Fresh Squad Deluxe dolls at a good discount, with shipping, and buy multiple.

I have to warn you that Ivan has a really yellow complexion. Dare I say jaundice!

Rock the Bells line for LL Cool J!

There was also the release of Rock the Bells at Walmart! Dr. Lisa did this line for the anniversary of Hip Hop.

Fresh doll Kahlil was also a Walmart release.

 I found the 4th wave Ebony at Walmart, too!

The Rock the Bell Ebony had a short neck, and I swapped her body with a Wave #4 body.

Now I am waiting for Wave #6! I am hoping for the best! While waiting, I came across some dolls that I have wanted. I found this head and outfit on FB.

My three couples are spending their last day in St. Malcolm on the beach. That last day is always the best! They have had a great time and plan to come back next year!

Fresh Doll Week!

 Hey Gang!

It is Fresh Dolls week on the FB Fresh Dolls Collectors page! So I decided to show a few of my dolls.

More Fresh Dolls!

I've been stocking up on the new Fresh Dolls! I purchased the boys on their website and Walmart but wanted to see the girls in person before purchasing them.  My first purchase was Carissa!

Some people who purchased her said theirs had a longer neck doll. They said that they made their purchase from the website. The one I found at the Target near me,  and it didn't.  

After watching Dr. Lisa's video introducing the new dolls, I noticed they all had longer necks and smaller heads. The dolls I saw in the store had a variety of neck lengths. Also, she didn't look as yellow on the websites as in person. Both Ian (male doll) and Carissa have a yellow cast on their skin. She is a hard match for a body with a longer neck using Fresh Doll or Mattel. I purchased another eBay doll with a longer neck, and I am happy with her. So now I have a doll with a short neck and a longer neck!

Someone recommended the Mai as a replacement body but she wasn't a good match. The two doll's faces are slightly different.

Carissa is giving me old-school Christina Aguilera vibes.

Next up is Rock the Bell Ebony

I thought the Rock the Bell Ebony would have a long neck and a small head. She had a small head and a short neck. Bummer!

Rock the Bell Ebony and the Wave #3 Ebony dolls. As you can see the head size is different. It is harder to see that the neck length is different.

She has a soft print top. The print isn't as clear as I'm used to seeing. It looks blurred. 

She has light blue/gray jeggings with a graffiti print. 

The sneaker's quality isn't what we are used to seeing from fresh dolls. They are more like AliExpress doll sneakers.

When dolls are this dark, it is hard to get the lighting just right with the glare from the packaging.

She eats the light but she is beautiful! I love her crisscross romper.

I just can't believe how beautiful Aniyah is! I would like a more articulated body but am unwilling to trade it for a less bootylicious body.  The looks Barbie #10 is a possible match but slimmer.

Since I already have a Keyshia in Johnson, I have to give this girl a new name.  I am naming her Raylene. She is the sister of Lars. 

The dress is a little tight and the doll can't stand because of it.
