I want you to know that I made May Disney month! So don't look for it on any list of monthly celebrations!  Unless it catches on!

New Teen Disney Purchases.

I purchased this doll, and I didn't know who it was. I was told he was Kevin's size,
I found out he is the Disney Store High School Musical(  HSM)#3 Troy doll!

Sometimes the clothes are a clue to the doll. I purchased my doll nude, so it didn't come with all these excellent accessories...Boo!

I was glad to get him and add him to my crew!

Warning Nude Dolls

My nude doll and his stains on his body! 

The placement of the stains leads me to believe the shirt isn't a separate piece but part of the jacket. 

It may be just a collar with a tie in the front of a shirt and cuffs attached to a jacket sleeve. It is the only way I can explain the dark marks under the arm.

In the past, when I had a doll with stains from clothes, I would purchase the
Acme cream from the Dollar Tree and use it to bleach the stains out of the body. Dollar Tree hasn't carried the cream lately. So I will be searching for another cheap source.

Comparing him to Mattel HSM

He is a little shorter than the Mattel doll, and he has a stiff bend, a click knee. He is much lighter than the Mattel doll. He has painted on undies.  The body looks like it was made by Jakks. Which doll do you think looks more like Zac Efron?

The chest is different!

The feet are larger.  You can kinda make Ken shoes fit on HSM dolls loosely.

 But the Disney store doll's feet are larger and fit better in Ken's shoes.

Compared To BSI Kevin

He is a little smaller, but he doesn't have that crazy-bent-arm look.  He is a little thicker than Kevin. 

So,.... pants no, and tops yes!

Shoes are a no!

I finally put him on a Ron Weasley doll body. He is now Jimmy.

Hi everyone!

Disney Frozen 2 doll Ryder.

Most of the new male dolls in Frozen 2 (except for Lt. Mattias) come as part of a set. Boo! I would love to purchase the father (I love his face), but I am not willing to spend the money for the set just to get him.

I love his face too, and I would love to have the complete outfit, but that is not what I was able to purchase cheaply. I can't spend all my stimulus money on dolls, you know!

Equally, I am not willing to spend the money for this set just to get Ryder.  So I purchased him solo and as a nude doll. You can see he has molded on pants.

He was rebodied onto a Justin Bieber body!  

There are always a ton of them lying around here! Some have a flat neck, which is suitable for action figures, and some have a rounded neck, which is ideal for dolls like this one!

He is happy with his new look and a little more movement!  The Troy body went to this guy!

A Few Doll Finds From Facebook!

 Hey Gang,

I was able to pick up a few things on Facebook!  Sometime you get great stuff from people looking to reduce their doll collect.  I wanted to show you some of what I purchased.

First up are the heads.

Asian Joe Head

Often with a lot of dolls on the market, all I want is the head!  I got a GI Joe head and a Captain Kirk head for $3.00 each.  I thought that they were a great buy!  I rebodied them both.

On a Action Man body he is much taller than a Joe and can fit many of the clothes I already have.  Yeah his hands are large but I can work around that and it doesn't bother me as much as it used to.

Captain Kirk Head

Captain Kirk's head is sharing the same Texas Cheerleader body as Mattel Rock Hudson head.  

Right now Kirk is using it.  

In some picture that I saw he looked a little different but I like the way he looks!  He is wearing one of my new shirts that I will share with you guys later.

The next purchase were dolls!  

One that I have never seen before and one that I wanted!

I got this You Doll for $9.00!  

I had never heard of this doll line. She came nude and I put a dress that was laying around on her. 

You Dolls are a customizable 1:6 scale fashion dolls by MacMillan Toys in 2015. for $39.99 customers on the You Doll website could choose a doll with a variety of skin tones, eyes colors, and hair styles.  They couldn't combine a particular hair color or style with a particular skin tone and eye color. Instead, customers had to choose from fifty different pre-produced combinations of skin tones, hair color, hair length and eye color.

Her feet are the same size as the 80'-90's Barbies.

She as an interesting face and the head is overly large.

Here is an exaple of what you could choose from.

Customers chose an outfit and an accessories pack for their doll. The clothing looked like clothes real people would wear.  Customers chose an outfit and an accessories pack including more than 100 different combinations of musical instruments, sport equipment, pets, electronics, appliances, and more. There were options for dressy, casual, and sporty styles. The doll came in a presentation box featuring a backdrop that customers also chose from a number of options. Finally, kids give her a name and the title is printed on the front of the box.

I have wanted her for a while but the shipping from South Africa is a lot!

The seller made this outfit and she came with this on!

She has a really cute face!

Articulated elbows but not hands.

Three click knees like older Barbie dolls.

Now if they can do a dark articulated body, why can't Mattel give us one? IT dark doll bodies are too rare and too expensive!

She is the same complexion as Fashionista # 90 Rainbow Bright and Princes of South Africa!

I can see she will be sharing her body with all my very dark dolls!

Never Again!

 Hey Gang!

After seeing so many order action figure bodies from China for some of there Mattel male dolls, I decided to order a couple for some of my dolls.  I have made a few purchase from Ali Express and Wish so I felt like making purchases from Ebay shouldn't be too bad!   I understood that shipping might take a while and I was prepared for that.  So here is what I ordered.

1:6 12" Black Skin Tone Male Wide Shoulder Muscular Action Figure Body Model Toy

It sells for $16.97 but was on sale for 15.95.  This price range was a little less but in the same ball park of what most of the action bodies were going for.  It had free shipping which made it a good purchase. Since I had the extra money, (thanks stimulus check) I order two!  Here is what I got in the mail!

and one with both the hands broken off!

I contacted the seller and explained the situation and showed them pictures of how the 

item arrived. I did want a refund at first but wanted to know if they could send me the 

hand pegs and I would be cool! They said no!(WTF!) They said I could ship the item 

back at my cost and I could get a refund! What kind of crazy is that? What kind of 

customer service is that?  They then told me that they could give me a $6.00 refund 

since I had the body and only one had and issue.  I was thinking OK, I might be able 

to find the hand pegs on the net.  I got a few refund that month from Ebay.  Between 

seller not shipping correctly trying to save on shipping and the P.O. losing things, I had 

a lot of refunds in late Feb to early April.  I didn't notice that the refund was more like 

$4.77 and not $6.00.  I search for hand pegs. I got a coupon from Ebay because of my 

refunds for $5.00 that had to be used on and item over $15.00 in a week's period of time.  

Silly me, I order the body again and again it arrived with one hand broken off!

So the problem is (I told them this the first time I ordered the body)  that they put an articulated body just in a bag, no bubble wrap, no tape to hold the limbs to the body and don't remove the hands and feet putting them in a small bag.  That is crazy for an item coming from that far away.  The shipping envelope is plastic padded but not the good plastic padded envelope.  The body moves all around in shipping and it is going to break.

As you can see the hand is broken at the peg again.  I am now thinking that they might be shipping items that they know are broken! I can't be the only one who had this issue.  They should have changed the way they ship.

So I learned my lesson with this vendor! I might purchase a body from someone else but not from him.

Some Pants for Sean!

 Hey Gang!

It was last year about this time the my Sean (Rubeus Hagrid) got his storyline!  His unique shape     (a much rounded tummy) has some challenges. 

Tops were as much of an issue as bottoms for him. I show you some things had that I knew I could make work in my first post of him. But I knew back then that bottoms never fit the way they need to and road low on his hips. Luckily I did find a seller on Etsy who had pants just right pants for him and other interesting items too!

She has pant for my Sean and other larger action figures!  Sean needed pants!  I purchased  what I think will add to his wardrobe since he came with brown pants--. black, khaki, white and lt blue denim!

The fit is really good and doesn't slide down!

Not even in the back which was a real concern because he doesn't have as...

much in the back as he has in the front! 

She offers a discount for repeat purchases so I am now eyeing two tops  and a robe!

He does get out and goes place from time to time. I would be great if Sean had a Tux! His college reunion is coming up!

I think my Malik would love this outfit too! It is fitting for a King!
