Old Dolls Get New Life..Or At Least A New Body!

 Hey Gang!

I found these two Ken MTM body clones from China. They were about $6.00.I thought that wasn't too bad.

This one is in a medium dark brown...

and the other is in a light beige.

In the listing for the body, you can see that the body is highly possible.

This is a new body type.  It has a short neck that moves from side to side. It isn't suitable for dolls with a pivot neck.

This is an upgrade from the other clone male articulated bodies.

Here are the dolls I was able to rebody.  On some, the neck is a little small, but they still work for me.

I wrap a little tape around the neck stem to keep the head from slipping off.

Asian Holiday Ken Doll! Updated!

I purchased the Asian Signature Holiday Ken Doll from Amazon when it was on sale for $14.99! He is still on sale now!

Also used for the Barbie The Movie Asian Ken doll, played by actor Simu Liu.

Comparing!

I had heard that he had a strange complexion and had to do a body match. People said he had a yellow complexion. 

I purchased Disney Fiyero body for him. The Fiyero body had a slight yellow cast.

It isn't perfect, but it works! The body is a little thicker than the model-muse body he came on.

 I am calling him Choa.

The Coat!

I really love this coat! I am hoping the design won't peel off over time.  If anyone knows how to prevent this, let me know. I will be using it for many dolls.

Under the coat, he wears a yellow shirt and striped crow pants.

He has white platform sneakers (similar to BMR Neon Ken). He has a cap with SK on it.

Kidd Kenn is a gay Rapper.  I don't know much about him, but I have linked his wiki info.

I purchased him for his body.

He is wearing a pink pleather set. I plan on selling this. I know what happens to this type of thing over time

He is wearing heels. Because these are Ken doll heels, they can be used for my dolls with large feet.

I purchased him for his body. He is articulated in the arms, hands, knees, and feet. I bought a few with an eye on reboding a few guys. If he didn't have such a large head, I would keep one on the body.

Here he is compared to Ken doll. He is a little shorter than an MTM doll body.

I plan on a large reboding post soon. You will see what dolls I use his body for.
