Only Heart Males! OOAK! Video Of The Month!

Hey Gang!

So I needed to make some Only heart club boy dolls because I can't
afford to buy them.  I will have to do this for a few dolls for here on.
The cost of male dolls just goes up and up!

I saw these dolls online and thought I could do that!  Sam and Jake There weren't
directions but if I take my time I could do this.

I started with these dolls!
Brianna Joy, Anna Sophia and Karina Grace

I found two Brianna Joy dolls and decided the one with the curly bangs would

be better for this project! 

Curly bangs! My old Brie.

Straight bangs! New Brie.

Here is my finished dolls.

I repainted the lips and removed the cheek color but I didn't do the eyebrows!

Here is a video for how to's.  I found it worked well for the Brianna Joy.  The other
dolls it was easier to just give them a hair cut!

What My Dasia Wears!

Hey Gang!

My Dasia doll who's name is Nola Washington.  She works for the office
of Public Affairs here. She is a big girl, that is how she describes herself, with
a big laugh.  Yeah, you can hear her laughing down the hall!  She loves to laugh!
She has a big heart too.  She is kind, generous  and is a very good friend to all
who know her.  She isn't as lucky as Vanessa's of Van's Dolls Treasures to
have outfits made especially for her.  My doll wardrobe is mostly Teddy Bear
outfits and Groovy Girl clothes but she does have some things to wear.

So here she is with the tube dress from my previous post and a
Groovy Girl vest.

 The tube dress is very versatile and works as a dress or a skirt!  She only has three
pairs of shoes right now!

One of the members of the Dasia Facebook group recommended these shoes for

the doll.

These are Starting Lineup action figure sneakers.

These are Playmate doll shoes.

First outfit is for hanging, gardening and casual moments.

 She calls this her Minnie Riperton look!  All she is missing is the ice cream cone!

 and coat #2 is this pink one!  Her favorite color is pink!

I love the peasant look!  I think she needs a skirt to work with this!

She is very involved in breast cancer awareness...

 and does run/walks and events!

I found this dress at a thrift store.  I don't know who it is by. It works well

with the shoes.

Dress by itself. She need those silver sandals that Vanessa's doll has.

She is also and excellent singer and sings on the choir.

I found this top on a thrift store doll I purchased.

She sings for other events too!

I'm On Facebook!

Hey Gang!

I never thought I would but I am on Facebook! So why wouldn't I want
to be on Facebook?I'm a cynic. I don't have a cell phone and I didn't
Facebook. I guess I don't think anyone needs to know what I had for
lunch and no one needs to reach me anytime of the day!  Oh, also I'm
not technically savvy too.  The fact that I have a blog is good.

So why did I join?  Big and Beautiful Doll Dasia.  It is nice to see
what everyone elsewho has the doll is up to!  Many of our favorite
bloggers are on the page!   I just ordered some shoes after one of
the member's of the page Black-doll enthusiast  asked about shoes
would fit!  Vanessa and others are posting clothes and fashion shows
of  Dasia and Deena!

I am still finding my way around the site. I don't know who all
to friend. So don't be insulted if I am not returning something (people who
facebook all the time know to do) to you!

New Dolls, Redbodies And Some Comparisons

Hey Gang!

Here are some new dolls, rebodies and some comparisons.  So I saw this doll on
Vanessa's  blog.  I thought she was soo cute!  Vanessa is right!  I haven't seen a
dark complexion Chelsea. When I saw her in person I saw that the body was
painted.  Bummer!

She was rebodied on a SIS Courtney body.

Her names is Tempestt with two t's so we call her TT!

I could never understand why they use bent armed bodies.

The original body is a little smaller than the SIS doll body.

She has a great face with two tone hair that can only be seen from the back!

She is much better on this body.

They look great together!

TT:  Mommy I love your hair.

This is Linnit's brother Tyrone!

He spoils TT and she knows it!

Tyrone:  I don't spoil her...do I?
Linnit: Yes you do!

They are close as bother and sister too!

Having an uncle helps because her father is not around!

Finally is another rebody.  There has been a lot of talk about the new Fashionista

doll with the pale Desiree face but there has been few Desiree dolls with a dark face!

A while back I purchased a Barbie I Can Be A Cheerleader Doll Set because there

The dolls are called Nikkie and Grace.  I think Nikkie is the dark one.

She is on a Barbie So In Style S.I.S. Rocawear Kara Doll body!

Head swap!

The only other doll that comes close is this one!  The head isn't blown up like
many of the other balloon head dolls. One of my first post was headsculpts together.
