More Summer Doll Clones!

 Hey Gang!

The second most popular clone head sculpt is the Summer head sculpt. The first is the
CEO/Generation Girl. Here is my new clone doll, City Cyclin', who has the Summer head sculpt.
Close-up!
There is a lot in the box. Not bad for $7.99.
The outfit isn't bad either.
There is a bicycle helmet.
It is not a bad bike. It may get painted.
The kickstand goes up!
Not the best cat, but not the worst.  A repaint could make a difference.
Some photos on the side of the box.
Out of her clothes, the body isn't the best.
She has the slender legs characteristic of most clone dolls.
This is one of the Summer doll head sculpts. This is the darkest complexion I've seen used for the sculpture.

(Summer 2004-2015)

Warning: Nude Dolls!

There is also an imperfection on the neck. I plan on reboding her so it is no big deal.

The hair is not as thin as that of many clone dolls.
I will be using the #1 body for this doll.
This body can be used for many of the darker bodies.

This body can also be used for Malibu Christie!
It is not a perfect match, but it will do!
Rebodied!
Now she can ride the bike. She will be called April.

Next up!

Black Skin Curly Hair Doll—Play 66 Sports Collection. I purchased her from Temu for about $4.50. She already comes articulated, so I didn't have to give her a new body. Or so I thought!

She has the Summer 2011 head sculpt, which is used more often than the many other Summer sculpts.
Close-up!
Clone Close-up!
I love this hair look, but sadly, it is primarily rooted in the hairline.
My doll!
When I saw her nude (you may not be able to tell from my photo), her body was darker than her head.  I had a few of the medium brown bodies. So she was rebodied!
Here she is on her new body!

So here is Nia! Nia is a nursing assistant.
Other Summer photos
Summer and Summer clone doll that I call Zuri.

I redodied Zuri onto one of the clone articulated bodies. Zuri will work as a teacher's assistant while completing her teaching degree. She will work at the school where her children attend. She is dropping them off.

My AA Internet Articulated Doll From China!

Hey Gang!

So I too purchased one of those dolls from China!  She arrived today!
Promo Photo!
So here is my actual doll when she arrived!
Close-up of her face!
I paid about $1.90 plus shipping!  There were 4 other dolls and she looked to be the
darkest and that is why I order her.  Over all, she is not bad for what I paid for her
I thought she might make a good body donor.
The face is kinda cute and the hair isn't too bad. She looks like and upscale version of
a discount doll. Because of the way the hair is styled with a bang and two curly buns,
they saved money by not fully rooting the head.
Her outfit is what you expect from a discount doll.  The stitching  and the fabric
aren't so good but it is acceptable for the price.
Back of the top and the back of the shorts.
So here she is compared to some of my other dark dolls!  As you can see, she is
lighter.
Her head is larger than Mattel's and is closer to the size of the fresh dolls.
Here she is compared to some of my other dolls.  She is darker than Happy Family
Grandma but lighter than my rebodied Francie on a Tiana body.  What you may not
notice is that she has a grayer tone to her!
Arm comparison!

Warning Nude Dolls Ahead!

Here she is out of her clothes so that you can see the body.  The body isn't too bad
considering what I paid for it She has a pivotal chest and articulated elbows, wrists
and knees. When my husband walked by while I was taking this picture, he
said this is how he likes his women,  wearing a smile and jewelry.

I wanted to try this body on a few other clone doll heads to see if it would work
for them.  I put this AA Defa Lucy family doll Mom. It is a little lighter than the body.
I tried the body on this Defa Lucy Sisters Doll and it too is a little lighter than the
body.  I could be used for them but not a perfect match.  So I might order two
more.
I tried her on the my dollar store clone 2005 AA Barbie Fashion Fever doll and
this one was a good match! This would free up the SIS Kara body I had her on.
It defiantly a keeper for her.  Now I have to find all my other clone dolls and check.
My last try for today is on my Irma who is a Lovely Patsy doll I purchased from
Family Dollar store.  She is a pretty good match for her too but I will have to
address her head.  It has a bit of a wobble to it.
I ordered another body but it does come with a head so I don't know what
complexion it will be until it arrives.

OK, Thanks For Looking!

Kenyatta, Bakari and Mali get clothes for school!

Hey Gang!

Brie, Stacie, and Ricky!

I have tried to create a back-to-school post for my young dolls over the last few
years. Mostly, it has been Stacie Green, but she needs classmates.  So I need to have
other dolls in school with her besides Ricky and Brianna.

One of the boys in her class is Kenyatta.  Here he is in a couple of his
back-to-school outfits!

Kenyatta’s favorite color is green!
(Kenyatta is my Todd doll head on...
 a Kenya Keyshia doll body.)

Kenyatta’s brother and sister, who are twins, are Backari and Mali.
Mali is wearing a jumper and a green top with sparkles on it.
You can say her brother influenced her choice of top!
Mali: Hi!

Mali:  I also got a denim shirt and striped skirt.

Mali: I love denim!

Mali: I also got a denim skirt with a Tutti Frutti sweater.

Bakari: Only cause you almost cried if you didn’t get the sweater! Her brother says
with a slightly discussed voice!
Mali: Sooo!
Bakari: Sooo!
Mali: Sew buttons! Ha, Ha!
Kenyatta: OK, you two, stop that!
Mali: He stated it!
Kenyatta: Well, I’m ending it!
This is Bakari!
Bakari got a green shirt and cami shorts.  I think he got this because his brother
told him it was cool and made him look tuff!
Bakari: Hi!
This is his second outfit!

Bakari:  My favorite number is fifteen!

Here they all are with their mother Zuri!
Zuri: I still have so much more to do to get you guys ready for school!
