Hey Gang,
The other day I went to the thrift store looking for more articulated bodies.I went through the racks with my eyes that has become a fine tooth comb
for them. I came across a bag with these in it. I normally would not have
notice them because they are barbie and they don't have hair like I look for.
If I had noticed this type of items in the past, I would glance and move on.
But this time I gave them a real look.
I think I did it because I have been exposed to this type of thing from
reading Debbie's blog Black Doll Collecting. Not all dolls are for play or dios.
Some thing are for display or have because they represent something from your
past or culture! So they went in the cart and out of the store with my
barbie finds! I think I did well! I don't know if they are collectible or who they
are by but they are interesting to me.
They will invade my husbands domain-- the shelve in the kitchen. This is where his
Teddy bears, stuffed animal and Joes live. I hope they fit in and find some friends.
The girl: What...the kitchen!
Fellow: Will there be food for us?
I'm a little hunger. All I had is this cookie!
Mama: Oh the kitchen sounds like a nice place!
I'll bring my wagon!
