On The Craft Table! Working on the Market!

 Hey Gang!

I have returned to working on my doll market! There is a lot to do!

My previous project! Using contact paper to cover.  Not sure how I feel about how this came out.

As you can see, there are many shelves to fill. I also purchased this!

I have painted the case, and it is ready for food. I am still working on the register. Here is the case.  I painted it silver.  I used the cardboard cereal boxes to make the back wall. I used the original back as the template. I covered it with silver paper.

Beef!
I have purchased some food from Connie Deshon Runnel. I really love her stuff!
This is my next purchase. It wasn't complete, but good enough.  I started on this by painting it.
More work to do! My next purchase was the Quick Checkout Register. It will need a "15 items or less" sign. I purchased it from CNMCreationsInc, which is also on Etsy.

It says it is 1/6 scale, but it is a little short. I am using Timoko(RM) for scale.
I gave it some height by placing bottle caps underneath.
It is better now!
That is it for now!

OK, Thanks For Looking!

On The Craft Table! Working On The Market!

 Hey Gang!

These are not my crafts, but they are on my craft table!

One of my Facebook friends, Connie Deshon Runnels, is making food for dolls.  She sells on Etsy and on Facebook. Just message her. I had to purchase some. I plan on working on my market and knew I would need some items. I made a few orders from her.

This is my first order! She sold me these groceries in a box.

With the plastic off.
I love this wooden box. I know I can use it for many things.
The individual items.

There is a pork and a beef roast set, two government checks, a receipt, charcoal, foil, cheese, and collard greens.

I have drumsticks, breast, and thighs
And I have a tuna steak, salmon, and perch.
Steaks of various types.
And grass-fed beef, and oxtails!
Esther: Girl, give me them oxtails! You know you know nothing about oxtails but how to eat 'em.

Ms. Leo: I know about oxtails! I ordered them! You shouldn't be on here. I haven't introduced you or anything.  There are other dolls ahead of you.
Esther: Don't make me hit you with my masher! I can introduce myself. Hello, my name is Esther Pritchette, and I don't take no #@%$!
These items are really cute. There is charcoal in the bag, and foil in the box.
Then I ordered lunch meat for my meat counter.
I have ham, salami, roast beef, corned beef, oven-roasted turkey, Swiss cheese, provolone, and American cheese.
I just love the grain on the meat.
Swiss, American, and Provolone!
I even got sliced meat! Now I just have to make a meat slicer.
It came in the cute crate.
I ordered some other things, I'll show you later! So, put your order in! I know she will want to spend time with her grandbabies over the holidays!

OK, Thanks For Looking!

The Market In Progress!

Hey Gang!

I have purchased some Barbie play sets a long time ago and I am working on
a Supermarket for my dolls in my dolly town.  To get a better look I have spray
painted a few things and have cover other with silver contact paper and silver
tape. It still needs lots of work  to get it to look like I want it but you can get the
idea.
I have some other pieces that aren't quite dry enough to photo.  I am not sure
what color the walls will be either.
The shelve in the back here was white an pink cardboard and covered fairly easy.

The cooler in the back was pink! It took three coats to cover it.  It seems that
thinks spray paint better in the summer.  I hope to get everything done this this
summer.
To give you an idea of scale, I have Kwan to show proportion.  The wall of the
large shelve has a wrinkle.  I am not sure if I should use the tape on it and not the
contact paper.  The tape seems to stick better. I want the market to be larger than
the tri-fold board allows for.  I am working on a meat case, a hot buffet, a bakery
and a produce section.

I will probably use ideas from My Froggy Stuff to complete the store.   If you
have any suggestion on the market, please let me know!
