On The Craft Table!

I have a few picnic tables. I recently found two large tables that I had to add to my collection.

I found two of these on Amazon. It was meant to be used for condiments, but I made them picnic tables like the rest of the tables I own. 

The dimensions are 13" length X 5 1/2 depth X 12" wide. Which is significant.

I will cover the top of the table with cardboard. This will cover the holes and allow me to use the whole table.

I will use a tablecloth for now, but I will make a wood-looking top later.

  I will have to hem the tablecloth. Here are a few dolls at the table for scale.

Each table can fit eight dolls, totaling sixteen dolls. This will work well for gathering and celebrations.

Hey Gang!

Jacob is enjoying his stay at the reservation.

Loraine sees her brother sitting in the little copse. 

She walks over to him, sitting on the bench.

Loraine: Hey, enjoying the day?

Jacob: Yeah, it is really lovely here. I can see why you love it here.

Loraine: I really do!

Jacob: And Edward... he treats you well?

Loraine: He loves me! He says so all the time, and I feel it!

Jacob: And children?

Loraine: I'm hopeful, and I'm building a family. Fawn was 3 days old when we got her. America was about my age when I found you. Two Feathers and Dancing Brook came just last month. We are still looking for their older sister and aunt.

Are you thinking about staying? I hope you will stay!

Jacob: What would I do here?

Loraine: Whatever you want. What do you like to do? You have a well of talents!

Jacob thinks his sister has always believed in him, even when he didn't believe in himself.

He realized how much he missed her and her support.

Jacob: I want to do something outdoors. I'm not a desk jockey. 

Loraine: I know that about you! When would you like to leave to collect your belongings?

Jacob: I don't have many things.  Most of my stuff is packed. I'm not accustomed to being around so many people all the time, as is the case here. I might sleep in my tent.

Loraine laughs.  You still have that old tent?

He tries to stop her from laughing, 

Jacob: No, I bought a new one for when we would take groups and camp outdoors.  

Is there anyone doing camping excursions here? That is something I would be good at!

I don't think there is! I'll ask Edward. He knows everyone.  He would know if someone is doing it.

Are you going to try to stay? He would know who you need to talk to. Being the Chief, he has connections!

Jacob: OK! I'll give it a try. His sister hugs him.  He didn't realize until then how important his 

presence was to her. I guess my sister needs me.

Jacob Growing Up! --Update!

Hey Gang!

I decided that I would use the Duck Hunter body for Jacob. I
Thought you might like to see his progressions.

Ultimately, I decided that I didn't like this body either! So, here is where he is. He is on a 

Fresh Squad Daniel body.  It works way better and it has more clothing options.

Last Post For The Year!

Hey Gang!

I hope to have a lot of posts coming up!  Santa got me a new
camera for Christmas! I no longer have to share a camera with
my husband!  That also means I better know where my camera
is and not ask him did he see it. Now all I need is a new computer!

I've been work off of a tablet lateley.  My tablet is a lot faster than
my old computer but it can do everything. I can't upload pictures
with the tablet and my computer is on it's last leg! So I'm at the
libray posting!

I want to show you my last head swaps for 2013! Not that I don't
have more head swaps than I'm showing here but these are the
last that I will show.

The Girls!

I've had this doll a long time but she hasn't got much play time
until now. She is integrity toys Alysa doll with the Candi headsculpt but I
don't know which one.

This is Pilar.  She is  Brenda's best friend and a hairdresser too! They
met in hairdressing school.  Pilar doesn't pull any punches and speaks
her mind.

 She can now move like I want her to and as she needs to for doing hair.

She is on a Disney Jasmine body.  Here she is with another Integrity Toys
Alysa doll.

She is awaiting a Jasmine body.  She eyes Pilar enviously. The Jasmine

head will be for sale on the doll page if you are interested.

I have put my America doll on a Skipper body.  She has bendable legs

but is awaiting bendable arms. She is originally a BFF Aliesha doll.

This is her second body swap.

 She will make a great teen in an upcoming storylilne.

 It will also give her more cothing options.

 I rebodied my Twilight Jabcob onto a Hunter Huntsman body.

 It isn't a prefect complexion match but it is better than nothing.  This body is
shorter that Ken dolls.  It is about the size of the Liv doll Jake. I did have to
return this doll because the arm broke off at the elbow.  So be warned! Also,
he was not an easy head swap!  The neck is smaller than Ken dolls.  In
addition.  The knob is longer.  I had to cut it to make the head fit.  I am
happy with him for now.  He keeps his name Jabob and will be the brother
of Rae.

 The clothing and feel of the body works well with the Jacob outdoor kind of thing!
