My Halloween Purchase!

 Hey Gang!

I need to add more dolls to my off Barbie doll collection that aren't quite Barbie Many of these dolls I only use for Halloween .  I might not use them much but that can change!  I have been watch Doll of a Darker Hue on FaceBook and Instagram! She has a couple that consists of DC Super Hero Girl Bumble Bee Doll. 

She has a large head

She need a restyling!

Maybe a straw set.

She has a  different body type that Barbie but I wanted to add her to my collection.  I had been looking for her for a while but she hadn't showed up in my area! I found her on FaceBook in good condition for a great price! I was happy to finally add her! Her name is Na'ilah.

She has a cornrow section like fashionista Zig Zag but I think she had them first!

She has blonde/brown hair like the fashionista doll. My fashionista was chosen for  the amount blonde hair that she had. It was more than the other dolls in the store.

Now let's compare her to WWE Naomi!  They both have large feet.  I thought they were the same size but they aren't.

As for the hands they seem to have used hers for the Harry Potter female dolls!  The wand hand and the other hand.

Next up is Mattel Enchantimals Hixby Hedgehog Doll!Mattel only made one "AA male Monster High doll, Clawd!  He was my Howlaween feature!

In the wolf line there are three female characters Clawdeen, Howleen,  and Clawdia. There are two toddlers Barker, Pawla and  two babies Weredith and Packlyn. I have all of them but Clawdia.  She maybe a later purchase.

Clawd and Clawdeen with be a couple here!  

I got both of them at at thrift store!

They have three children Barker, Pawla and Weredith! The children were new purchase. 

I purchased Howleen from Facebook at a time that I decided that this wolf pack would be characters outside of my normal doll characters! I have to find her a husband which will be the beta in the pack.

Howleen's husband is away and she and her two children will be joining the pack while awaiting her husband's return. One of my Weredith (I got one when I purchased Barker and one when I purchased Pawla)  will become a baby boy and I will ad Hixby will be customized as a wolf cub to the pack!

He will lose the glasses! One of my other dolls wants them!

I not sure about the face paint either! I guess we will see!

Without the vest, the clothes are painted on.  I could put him on a different body. I'll have to think about that.

Home Girl vs Home Girl! Update...I Purchased Bantu Knot BMR!

Hey Gang!

I first want to share with you one of my favorite musician and favorite videos that
help in the inspiration of this post!  LL Cool J's Around The Way Girl!

When I first saw Zig Zag Barbie, I thought she looks like a "Home Girl"!
Or as LL Cool J would call her, an Around The Way Girl. Meaning she looks
like a young lady who would live in my neighborhood.

It was more than the outfit and more than the hair. It was the attitude of the doll!

 I found that many others saw her the same way and redressed her that way too.

So when I saw the new BRM Barbie doll Bantu Knot doll , I thought now she
is really styled like a Home Girl!

More Of My Purchases!

 Hey Gang!

So I did get some new Fashionista over the past few months!  So let me share
some of them with you!

First up is Color Block Ken!

I first showed  you him and Hip Hoodie when I first saw their pictures on Instagram.

I was a fan of this doll when I saw it online but when I saw him in person, I had 

misgivings! I knew the complexion didn't match anything Mattel has put out for an 

articulated body. (I had a hard time with the Twilight Jacob doll and finding a body 

for him.  I am still playing around with him.  I really didn't want that.)   I purchased 

him the second time I saw him and hoped for the best.

I love his shirt!  I wouldn't have put it on him with those pants but the top is a 

keeper. It does look like something for an older man to me.  So some my mature 

men will be sporting this.  The pants aren't what I would put on a male and they 

are too narrow for a curvy doll and that was a bummer.

So I was playing around with the body and found that the body worked on JB head!

So what about vise versa?
So that what I did!

 The body does make him look younger!

 So for the real question...is he Asian or Arabian ?

 I have heard both theories.

 He doesn't have a name yet!

Next up Hip Hoodie!

I told you when I purchased him I already had a Texas AA body for him. I also
had some family for him too.

So here is Dexter and kinda Afro hipster

Mother: Have you completed everything you need to do?
Dexter: Sigh! Yes Mom!

 Dexter to himself...I can't wait until I'm in a dorm room!

Lastly is Zig Zag Fashionista Curvy Barbie

I actually thought that she would be the same complexion as Emoji Fun but she
is lighter. She is Cara complexion.

 This isn't actually here body! This promo photo.  Here are are actually straight.

I used the body for this doll.  I had the head waiting for a body. I have had a ton of
Kara heads because the bodies were used as donors.

I kept two this one I have always liked!

It was just finding a body that wasn't a donor for her!

Her head is now on a Disney Tiana body. And this is Shaniquah!  She is my
hood girl!

I need a homegirl around here and she fits the bill.

Shaniquah: That's right I am a ride or die chic!

And don't talk no smack about my fashion or my man or you will be missin' some teeth!
