More Kids on the block! Clone Dolls!

 Hey Gang!

While searching the net for clothes for my Stacie size dolls I came across these! They are by Dukimou from AliExpress and are Stacie clones! Well you know I like clones. I have an AA Stacie clone before Mattel came out with an AA Stacie!

Promo Photos

The discription said that thet were 7 inhes but as I read further and saw the picture of the doll nude (I love that they showed the doll nude so you can see what the body looks like! I wish more companies would do it!) it showed her as 23cm which coverts to 9 inches.

Warning Nude Doll!

So I figured she was worth the gamble to order. I chose the brunette Stace because
I didn't have one ant the team Stacie brunette by Mattel had a bent arm.
I also got this blonde one.
They aslo had a boy doll! These doll is a White Jackson doll clones! Woo Hoo!I thought this were a find. I got two.

The fact that they came with hat was a nice touch!
I might paint the hair on the second boy red or brown.

Jackson!
Clone!

My Photos!

They come in a bag wrapped in heavy duty bubble wrap!
He is very cute in his outfit and hat! The quality is what you might expect from Sparkle Girlz.
His has the five part articulation which is the same as Stacie dolls. The arm are more rubbery than Stacie dolls but the same style.
The hat for the girl is held on with velcro which I will have to remove!
It pulls on the hair when removing the hat. This doll has a pretty shade of auburn hair.
It isn't rooted thickly.
The face screening is pretty good!
She is Stacie height wich means the clothes can be swapped..
Feet are the same size too!
I think the body could be used for other heads too!

OK, Thanks For Looking!

My Second Team Stacie Doll!

Hey Gang!

I finally found the AA Team Stacie doll!

Mattel Promo!

If you are interested in the Team Stacie Dolls, they are available on Target.com!
Yes I couldn't wait to take pictures.  She came in the mail last night.  I am wondering
if she will be called Janet of the web!

So here she is!

 Mattel Promo!

My Photo!

She is darker than many of the smaller AA dolls

She is close to SIS Courtney's complexion.

She has an Afro puff top bun with painted on tendrils to give her
the "baby hair look".

So let look at her face!  She has wide set eyes!  She has light eye.  They kinda
the color seen on Chandra dolls.

My 2010 Stacie and my Stacie clone but have wide set eyes.

AA Stacie and AA Stacie clone!

She also has fat Whitney Houston eyebrows which is different for a Mattel
doll. Now this might just be my doll, but her lips are over painted to give
her a full mouth.
You can't see it but the back of her head says 2010 like the last version of the doll!
She comes in this pink dress with pearl white sneakers and a white lab coat.

She also comes with a science set.  The set contains test tube and holder a
burner stand with flask, (They were smart enough to not provide the burner.
I can see where there would be legal issues.) and tubing, a microscope
and goggles. Just like the Barbie Science set.
Her sneakers say B for Barbie and not Stacie like the boy doll!

I guess because she comes with the science set, that makes her the smart girl! Yay! Not the one that wants to be a model, or an athlete.

Now let's look at her body!
Warning! Nude doll!

She has the same 2018 body  with flatten chest of the Team Stacie boy doll!  I
wondered if she was suppose to be a boy but they change it at the end.
We haven't had a AA male child doll since the AA Todd of 1994! I might get
another to turn into a boy!

I was hoping to use my extra Keyshia body for her but she is darker than the
darker Keyshia doll.  So I am going to have to hold on to that body a little longer.

On my doll the body is a little lighter than the arms and legs.  I found this too in
some of the SIS Kara  and Chandra dolls.

Now I don't know why but I am happy that this doll doesn't have the bent arm
but her knees don't bend either.  I can tell you that I would be really bummed
to have non-click knee and a bent arm!!!  I can live with how she is.
I am hoping the next line will have the Hispanic doll without a bent arm.

 I am calling her Nikia!
Some say that she has a tentative smile!  I think she is one of those dolls that looks
different depending on the angle that you photograph her from.

Sophie and Sister Review! AA Stacie Clone!-Update!

Hey Gang!

So like I said in my last post, I purchased Sophie and Sister!

So here are the items out of the box!

You get an adult doll and a child doll.  There are two purses, mirror and brush!
Why toy makers still provide brushes and mirrors is far beyond me! Does anyone
use them?
Close-ups of the dolls.
Adult doll
The Stacie clone I was wanting!
She is very cute!
I thought the adult doll's face looked familiar but she doesn't look like any of the
other clone dolls I have. If you are familiar with the head sculpt, please let me know.

The purses look like Barbie/Liv Doll knock-offs and they are the quality of either.
So even though I don't need anymore pink purses, someone else might!
It wasn't until I looked at the brush and mirror that I realized that the set was by
Defa Lucy.  That explained the coloring of the dolls.
For clone dolls the adult shoes aren't too bad!  They are better than some I have seen and it they weren't pink, they would be keepers.  Right now I have more pink shoes that I can count!
The Stacie clone has pink sneakers which feels like a strange choice for the
dressy dress she is wearing. The quality on the sneaker could be a little better.
The back of the shoes are a little thin and can bend down when you are putting
shoes on the doll.

So lets look at the doll!

For a clone, the thickness of the hair is not bad!
It is fairy full and there aren't serious bald spots!
Here she is compared to the original Stacie and Kenya's Keyshia doll.
The Stacie clone is lighter and has a grayish tint to her.
The face is a pretty good likeness!
The head is also about the same size as Stacie.
Some clone dolls the head can be bigger or smaller.
Face color comparison of the clone and Keyshia
I pushed the head down a little.  The longer neck didn't seem to work for me.
Mattel AA 1991 Janet, AA clone Stacie, and Keyshia

One of the things about Mattel AA dolls is the complexion on Mattel dolls are
warm colors.  Many others doll manufacturers (ET, Pretty Girls, etc.)  have a
gray or greenish undertone.
The body of the clone is unlike any of the other child dolls I have seen. The Keyshia doll uses a body similar to Mattel Stacie but better.  Nude, you can really see the complexion difference. The clone Stacie is shorter than the Mattel doll.

The clone has breast which may mean that the body was used is a miniature adult doll.
The clone feet are smaller than Mattel doll.
The ankle is thinner too!

The foot is way smaller than 1991 Janet.
Stacie Clone feet are closer in size to Chelsea doll shoes.

The knee can bend slight.
The arms and legs can move up and down and to the side.
Clone Stacie in Fairy pose!
Dolls in Fairy pose!
Stacie can wear clone dress...kinda!
But it is too small to close fully in the back!

Comparison of the adult doll!

Tiana, clone adult doll, AA Toys R Us doll on Artsy body.

Nude body comparison.
All have a form of the belly button body.
The torso are similar in size.
It was cost a lot of money to give clone dolls shapely legs and butt
because most clone doll don't have either. They can have a full wardrobe and other
accessories but no butt or shapely legs.
Clone has the normal clone foot size and shape.
The knee does bent but not the three position click of older Mattel legs.
So her she is hanging out with the gang! I am calling her Rochelle.  She is wearing Chelsea size doll  yellow shoes, My Life As...  gray top, and pink tights I got on FB.

Update!

Mattel does plan to release an AA Stacie alone with other dolls her size.  I don/t know what the names will be but I can't wait to see them in stores!

Baby Sitter dolls!

Friends!
