On The Craft Table! Head Swaps!

 Hey Gang!

I''ve finished my first projects from the craft table and am moving on to more projects.  Stating with a few more head swaps.

AA Fashionista Ken #130

AA Fashionista Ken #130 who looks similar to AA Fashionista Ken Classic Cool. 

Where there are a few articulated bodies out ther close to Classic Cool's complexion there aren't any bodies by Mattel that are articulated close to #130 complexion. So I had to order a IT 1.0 Nubian skin tone articulated body for him.

I saw a few post on FB that they rebodied Fashionista Ken #130  with the Nubian body and it seemed to be a good match.  Once I got the body, I cand see that it is.  

He is taller but the body really works. I used differnt pants because loner legs need longer shorts.

Close up! He makes a great college age guy.

I found a Ginny Weasley for $9.99 nude! What I wanted was the head and not the girl Harry Potter doll body, so that worked.

Harry Potter girl doll body. I nver new why they used that body and not a body that they already had in production.

Ginny is anothe canidate for a Clara 4 Realms body! Here she is on that body. I think she looks better and can interact with Skipper size dolls without looking wierd. She might get a new hairstyle.

It time to work on at least one of the heads that I got from AliExpress!

I found a Disney male body in a box of dolls at a flea market. The owner gave a good price because she couldn't find the head.

It isn't the best match but it will do. I am thinking about changing the eyebrow and the scruf on the chin.

I also found a older Skipper Babysitters Inc. doll in that box.

I think she is this one.

She is not the right tone for a Clara Four Realms body. I rebodied her on a Creable World Asian doll body.  The Creable World body give her articulation.

Happy Halloween! Since this is the day for magic, I thought I would share with you my....

Bellatrix Lestrange!

She, like Cinderella Fairy Godmother are modeled after  Helena Bonham Carter who is a famous British actress.

Bellatrix is one of the bad wizards in the films and is rumored to have had a baby with Voldemort!

Yeah, don't think about it or your skin might crawl.

I love her two tone hair color and that she has a bent wand.

The other detail of her outfit are pretty nice too!

I have a black witches hat that would work well with her outfit but like with most things around her,

I will have to find it.

Last Purchases For 2020!

 Hey Gang!

So you might have seen that I have add a few dolls to my blog! Luna, who is Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter doll series.  My Shiori who is Cho from the Harry Potter doll series.

Luna and Shiori!

They are not on their original bodies. Luna is on an articulated Nutcracker Four Realms Clara doll body. Shiori is on a Mary Kate body of Mary Kate and Ashley dolls   That MK body isn't a perfect match for Cho but an OK one. I didn't want to use the Harry Potter bodies for my girls.The Clare body doesn't perfectly fit the Luna clothes. The dress is to small but I may alter it. The other items fit OK.

The two original bodies show the two type of young girl bodies in the Harry Potter line. Cho was a part of the second wave of dolls.  She is supposed to be older and has high heeled beet.

Warning! There will be nude dolls and bodies below!

First and second wave feet!  The legs are the same length the difference in the high heel feet.

All of the girl dolls are pale but Luna is even paler than the others and works well with the Clara body.

Next up is a Jimmy Osmond!

l I have wanted him for a while!  He is kinda hard to find and I don't think they made many.

I didn't purchase him in the box. So, this isn't mine. Picture is courtesy of Goodwill!

I found him on Etsy for under $20.00!

He was part of the Osmond dolls made by Mattel in 1976!

He and all the other dolls in the line have a bent arm. He also has a hole in one hand to hold a microphone which I have but it is not pictures.

He is 10 1/4 inches tall. So he is smaller than Scott but larger than Skipper. Redress, Ossie, as he is called here, is a bit of a character! He is a mischief maker! 

You have to work around the bent arm.  Unlike Babysitters Inc doll's bent arms, his doesn't swing up. Only forward and backward. I makes him a little difficult to dress!

He is kinds cute! You gotta love the freckles!

Lastly is Peter !

Peter is Licca-Chan's Papa, Pierre Miramonde. He is the dad in the story. Pierre Miramonde, a 

supposed French musician married to a beautiful Japanese fashion designer, Orie Kayama.  At least 

that is how the Takara story goes. So why is Licca carrying the "Kayama" surname you ask? 

Apparently, he fell in love with the name that he decided to carry his wife's last name rather than it being the other way around. So he's sometimes Pierre Miramonde Kayama but oftentimes simply

known as Pierre Kayama.

In Johnston he is a teen and his name is Peter.

He isn't as tall as Ken or Tom dolls. He is slightly smaller and a little different than Tom dolls,  He is about a half of an inch shorter.

His hips are different. The are indented for the legs like Tom.

His legs are slightly larger than Tom.  I don't think  the legs bend.  I haven't tried.

The chest is the same. and the neck seem slimmer.

The hands and arms are slightly different too.

His feet are smaller and  don't have the holes in the bottom.

Info on the back of the dolls is different too.

His back says Takara  made in Japan!

He is made in China! His back says Tomy China.

I Think I Have Completed My Harry Potter Doll Purchases!

Hey Gang!

I purchased two more doll from the Mattel Harry Potter dolls collection!
Draco and Hermione!
I got Draco because he has a different face! There aren't many doll that I would
want that have a frown but he is one!
Here he is with he dad and younger brother! I need names for him and his dad!

The younger brother is Ethan!
I unboxed him on the way home and mistakenly trashed the snitch! Oh well!

I finally got Hermione!  After much, much debate!  Out of all the dolls in the line
and many other Mattel dolls, this doll differs from doll to doll! I had to really think
about which doll I wanted looking at the hair! Did I want the smaller bangs
or did I want the wider bangs. Will the wider bangs be more of a hassle overtime?
Will they stick out and be something have to manage over time!

Do I want to see her eyebrows or not?

 The no eyebrows showing looks older to me.

The eyebrows showing look younger! I looked them all over and came up with the
best of each and then narrowed it down!

 Two different color wands!

 Two differ kinds of wide bandgs!

 The bangs on this one is really wide with hair holding it down.

Final two!

Big bang?

Smaller bang that the hair holds it in place!

My final choice! Now for her name and story!

I have Ron and Harry, McGonagall, and Dumbledore. I am not sure about Jenny!
Her face looks like it should be on a full sized Barbie
