Kinda Grail!

Hey Gang!

I have wanted this doll since it was released! I couldn't find her in the stores when she was released. The price for her has been way too high since! 

2005/2006 Barbie Fashion Fever United Colors Of Benetton Loves Paris, Wave T,

This was the first time I had seen the Laura headsculpt used as an Asian doll.

 I found her, although she wasn't mint or complete, but she was the doll!

My doll came with the original scarf and purse.

This was before the Fashion Fever dolls got the shorter troll body.

She has the click knees like many of the bellybutton body dolls.

I love the haircut on this doll! It is the most innovative cut that I have seen of a Barbie. It looks like the stylist cut it with a razor.

I believed it was a longer layered pixie cut or gamine cut. Thinking that they were both the same cut with different names, but I was wrong! Now I am going with an elaborate and flamboyant gamine. One of the things I love about posting and blogging is that I learn something!

The pixie cut is the shortest of the three lengths that are the Gamine cut. It is the cut we think about when we picture Audrey Hepburn. There is strong debate about hair length and face shape for these styles.

Another Grail! Bjork Top!

 Hey Gang!

I got another Grail...The Bjork top! The Bjork top is one of the most sort after items of the Fashion Fever collection!

The jeans in the set are nondescript but the top with its print of  women with dark hair and 

flowers on a striped background which considered to look like the Icelandic singer/recording artist Bjork!

Bjork came to my attention at the 2001 Oscars when she wore the outrageous Swam Dress!

Bjork has been know for her unconventional wardrobe.  The photo below is from her Homogenic  album cover.

You might have seen and OOAK Barbie version her in this outfit from a doll makeover 

contest that was featured in a Barbie magizine. You can read more about it on the

blog  Bjork Zine-The Björk blog that reads like a magazine.

I just got one of grail items that I talked about in My Mass Blogger Interview! An Integrity Male …Back To Brooklyn Remi! WOW! I haven’t purchased a new Integrity Toy Doll since I purchased the Adora ancient legends queen doll. I am soo pleased with this doll! I am taking the time to enjoy him in the box for a day or two. That how I know he is nice. I never make it to the parking lot of the toy store with most dolls. The box and setup are Very Nice! He is going to start a lot of trouble around here!  He will be with my college crew. I do think I will get another male soon! I wonder how well he fits Ken clothing. I guess I will find out!
