New Action Figure At Toys R Us!

Hey Gang!

I wanted to share with you and action figure that I just found at Toys R Us.
I have taken this pictures and posted to my blog with my new tablet!
It takes better pictures than my old table. I might not need to carry
my camera with me everywhere!

So here he is! He is the Blue Box Duck Hunter. He is an excellent find!

Here is a close up on his face! He comes with some great accessories too.

Ducks he caught!

He has a great dog friend hunting dog!

A rifle.

A real and an action figure size duck call and binocular.

Now guess how much?

Can you believe it!

So I bought him! I'll post pictures out of the box later!

Speaking of the box, they make more action figures but I only saw this one there.

Power Team Sighting!

Hey Gang!

I saw Power Team action figures at Big Lot! Not a lot of them but here
is what I found!

This were 20.00. I think these are new head sculpts but they just might be new to me.

This was the only AA found! I have him but other might be interested.

He kinda interesting too... maybe later. Hide him in the shelves.

What I 've Been Up To!

Hey Gang!

I am almost caught up at work. I should be there by Monday. I hope to get some really good play time in then.

I did want to tell you what I have been up to on the dolly front. OK, once I decided that I wanted to have articulated bodies for my doll, I could see the cost would be a factor. I have been slowly purchasing bodies when I can get a good price. I know that replacing the bodies on my AA dolls will cost the most because of the variety of complexions needed and the amount of AA articulated dolls out there to be donors. My other dolls will be all changed out way before my AA dolls will be completed.

I purchase the last of the Power Team guys from Big Lot. I had some of the power team guys with the large hands that I needed to swap out.

To some, the big hands may not be an issue but for me they are. Most of my male clothing is Ken size clothing and the big hands won’t fit many of them. My guys need to be able to share clothing around here. I know I will be able to find skin tone hands for them later. For now they can share the smaller hands I already own.

So who got changed out?

You remember Troy from my earlier post. He was the first candidate.

Then...

Now!

I now you can't see the hands but there is a difference in the hands and the size of the chest for the larger hand action figures.

One of the things you not when your car is down and you are riding the bus is fashion trends. The box hair cut is making a comeback. Who would think it!

Next was Chaka Fattii. I call him Chaka because I think he look like the actor (Henry Cele) in the Movie Shaka Zulu. His last name is a play on the name of the local Congressman.

“There is no future without Shaka!”

You might remember seeing this guy in the Airport.

He got changed out too.

He will be the father of a character you have seen.

Oh yeah and this guy!

He will be one of the college campus hunks!

Technically.... A Head Swap Figure!

Technically... A Head Swap Figure!
I purchased this head on Ebay. It didn't come with a body
but it must have had one! Because of this, I am technically
calling this a head swap!

Here is how it arrived!

It is supposed to be Micheal Jordan. It really doesn't look
like him to me but it's Okay. The only spare body with
a neck that would accomadate this head was GI Joe. So
that is what I put him on for now.

Here he is on that body for now!

He doesn't have a name or story.
Action Figure:Who am I?

He kinda washed up on the beach!
Action Figure:How did I get here?

He is still trying to figure things out.
Action Figure: Where was I going? I really gotta
stop drinking!

Thrift Store Find!

Hi Gang! I'm Back!I had a great week of plants and gardening. But my week was
not soo full that I couldn't get in a thrift store! I paid $10.00,
which is more than I normally pay for pre-owned toys.

Sailing over the horizon to protect the freedom of the world
is this thrift store find!

Windsurfing GI Joe!

I saw this guy at the bottom of the bin and I couldn't pass him

up... of maybe I just needed a dolly hit! LOL!

I guess you can't have enough men around! He came with
these items and he is almost complete. His body says 1996.
If you have info on it, please post it on comments so we
all can share.

Doesn't he look like he is on a mission! He has a strong face!

I like all the gear but I don't know if I really need it.
He is missing the missiles and radar dish. They may have
been in the bin but because I didn't know to look for them,
I didn't.

He came with the wetsuit that has a small tear that I
can fix. Oh, I said can I didn't stay will or when.

I am now switch to white background for stats
and comparisons!

About the Joe!**

He is tall than most GI Joes. He has more of a
Action Man body. Action Man was big in the 1990-2004.
Action man had all kinds of neat stuff. To me, it would seem
wise to use some of that same stuff and body for Joe.

Older Joe and Newer Joe!
Compared to the older Joe, Windsurfer is taller.
