Creatable World dc-319

 Hey Gang!

You might remember I while back I showed you my Vanessa on a creatable world body. 

Well this is the body I used for her. It was the right complexion for Vanessa//Chandra-Blue Brocade.

The starter sets doesn't have much clothes. Mostly underwear, wig and no shoes.

The body is shorter than Skipper. I needed my Vanessa to be taller so she didn't say on that body and is back on her petite body.

When I saw the new doll that they add to creataworld, the darker one seem to be a last minute add, I also purchased this one too!

This doll is a lot darker and is one of the darkest articulated doll that Mattel has done! So Mattel, you can do it! Mattel needs to release a very dark articulated 11&1/2 inch body.

This is the fashions that come with the doll.

The head has curly black hair.

It comes with underwear, 3 pairs of shoes, a jacket,a wig, pants, 2 tops, a hat, sunglasses, shorts,and a skirt.

The doll is the same complexion as Fashionista  #90.

I had and extra POSA head sitting around and that it would make a great boy!

This was easy.  I removed the makeup and earrings.

He looks like his Mom!

So who got the other body? Sunshine Family Hal.  The body for my Hal hasn't usable since I purchased him. So this was a good choice. 

They can both hangout with my Stacie size crew.

I'm Back!

Hey Gang, 

I’m back! I have gotten a good rest and I am ready to do a post or two. So while I was away, I read a few blogs but didn’t comment. I guess I can do that now. Not doing it then helped keep it stress free for me. I did a little shopping and just play with my dolls. It helped me worked out some stories and characters and I started organizing… again!

So while out and about I came across this doll! I will post picture of the other dolls that where there but for now here is Kenya!

I pick this one because of the suit and her complexion!  You have to go for a suit when you see one.  The box says Kenya Riviera.  There a few others model there.  I may go back if they go down in price.  This one was 20.00.

I took some pictures out of the box so you could see her without the glare from the flash.  The paint job on the face is OK.  It is much better than clone dolls.

She has a really nice suite and top.  It is better quality than most clone items found out there.  I reminds me of the Janay and Jordon fashion when they first came out.  Her had band is not circular and it is tied together in behind her head.  It is long enough and wide enough to be warn as a shawl. 

She has articulated arms, hand and knees.  This would make her a great donor body but the neck knob is hard plastic and doesn’t have the flexibility of Barbie or Liv Dolls.  The neck knob snapped when I tried to remove the head.

Oh, and cute shoes!  The ribbons from the box can be used too!

Ok, so here she is side by side with Princess of South Africa on A basic MM body.  You will note that her had is much larger than Barbie.  It is about My Scene size.

Her necklace is pretty nice.  Her earrings and purchase are more like that of clone dolls.

She is more busty than most barbies.  Here is the back of the box.

You never know what the male doll will be like until you see him in person.  The Flava male doll's heads were a different size than the girl dolls. Even if TJ 's head is large, I still might be able to use him!  He wasn't at the store when I was there.  He might show up at Christmas.

Malibu Christie!

Malibu Christie!

This was my last doll purchase of 2010. I didn't

break my doll budget for that time because I go her for

under $30.00! I could not believe it! If the economy

wasn't so bad, many doll collectors would not be selling

and more people would be buying and I probably wouldn't

have this doll! Maybe a Black Francie will come up in my

price range but I doubt it! This is one of those dolls that

pictures do not do justice! I am lover of Julia, but there is

something different and special about this doll!

She has more of an intense look that Julia. Could it be the

absence of eyelashes? They do give Julia a flirty look!

She is much darker that I remember Mattel ever doing for a doll

back them! I can imagine that this doll might have caused

some controversy in her day! She is not on the 1966 Japan

TNT body of a Julia but is on the 1966 Korea body.

Note the difference of the waist. Julia is a "V" and this

one is straight across. The bust on the Malibu body is

bigger too.

Her hands are different. Korean hand are smaller and fingers

are close together than the Japan Julia hands.

Princess of South Africa and Malibu Christie nude.

She is closer in complexion to Princess of South

Africa (POSA)! Note the difference in

body size. POSA is on the 1991 Body which

has a smaller bust and hips. This is not a mint doll.

There are some small pin holes in the feet. You can't see

them in pictures because of her complexion but you can

see them in person. Her hair needs some work too.

I have her hair pulled back but is a little puffy.

The has been a change in the complexion of her torso.

It has a gray cast to it and is no the same complexion as

her legs and head. In looking at other Malibu Christies I

have found this common for this doll.

WOAAA Halloween Party Part Three- Harry's Costume Shop

HARRY'S HALLOWEEN SHOP!

Harry's Halloween shop has be busy since the
announcement of the WOAAA Party. He has
had to call around to bring in
more costumes.

He thinks he should work with this group to bring
in more business.




Dominique is thefirst to arrive.
She spots a pretty ball gown.
Harry knows more women want to be princesses more
than any thing else so he keeps a supply of princess gowns.

Renee and Etienne arrive.
Renee and Etienne: Hello!

Dominique: You didn't tell me he was coming?

Renee: I thought it would be good to get a man's
opinion. Besides he wanted to pick out his own
costume. Pick out a few things and let's see them on you!


Etienne: Sis, I'm hurt!
He says to his sister-in-law.
Hey, what's up buddy? He says to the skull.

Renee: Aren't you going to pick out something
for yourself?

Etienne: I see what I want! I'll be HC Hammer!
Renee: You?

Etienne: Can't touch this! Da dumb, Da dumb
Can't touch this!

I need.... Oh lord!

Renee says to her sister: This is the cross I have to
bare everyday!


Dominique: You did have I choice, you said I Do!
Renee: So I am to pay for that mistake the rest of
my life?
Etienne: I heard that!
Da dumb, Can't touch this!

Dominique:Yup! That is what marriage is!

Dominique: OK! I could be Julie Andrews
from The Sound Of Music!
I love that movie!

Etienne: Isn't that producer-director guy going to
be there? The only thing you'll attract in that is a goat!

Dominique: "E", That is not nice! What about you
Renee, what do you think?
Renee: Naah Naaah!
They all laugh!

Dominique :I could be a chief!

Etienne:Now that would be a trick! How is
that you two are the only Creole women who can't
cook Creole! If I want good Creole food I
have to cook it!
The sisters exchange a look.
Renee says engorging him,
Renee: Dee, Where is the hat?
Dominique: Messes up my hair!
Etienne: What about a naughty chief?

KiKi: Hey Dee, that looks good on you!

Dominique: You know my sister Renee and her husband
Etienne.
KiKi: Hi!
Renee and Etienne: We are looking forward
to the party! Thanks for inviting us!
Kiki: I look forward to seeing you all there!

KiKi: You must be Harry!
Harry: And you must be KiKi. It is good to meet you!

Tai: Hi E, Hi Renee!
Renee and Etienne: Hi Tai!
Dominique : That is a great costume! The lines on it are to
die for! Is there another?

Etienne: Dominique, this is Tai, she is
Matt's wife. She is really
a fight attendant!
Dominique: Sorry! That is a fantastic uniform.
Tai: A new young designer did it by the name of Francie!


Renee: You didn't tell me Matt was coming?
Etienne: He's my partner in crime!
Renee: Exactly!

Dominique :This one feels good on!

Renee: that is the old you! How about something more
modern!
Etienne: What about a naughty nurse?



Renee: Does everything have to be naughty?
Etienne: Pretty much!
Dominique : What about this?
