The Base and WOAAA Christmas Booth !

Hey Gang!

So you remember that Ben wasn't excited about playing Santa!  

He thought it didn't reflect his youth and vigor!
Being paired with some old widow was just the topper on the whole situation!
Oooh, since we both lost mates we will make a great couple! But when KiKi asked,
he couldn't say no! So here he was! In a Santa suit.

He was only doing it for the kids! He told himself! My part in community service.
And of course for KiKi!
Ben: And  I will not be some fix-up for some lonely widow!
The widow Ferguson is paired with him for the photo both.

There were some really great items from Tsai's Sporting Goods!

It is great promotion for the store! 

The sign that states that " Items are available for sale at there store!" isn't visible. 

Ellice arrived in a rush!

WOW! I just made it!

Ben: Just made it!

Ellice: Hi, you must be Dr. Kenobi!  I'm Ellice!

You're the widow Ferguson?

With a sigh she says!

Ellice: Yes, ....I guess I am.

Ben: Sorry I didn't mean to bring up sad feelings!

I am a widower also.

Ellice: Well this all looks very nice!

Ben: Yes, they did a good job as usual!

Ben: You better get your hat too!  The families will be lining up!

Upset About Being Santa!

Hey Gang!

So Dr. Ben Kenobi is upset  about being asked to play Santa for the town's  Base and WOAAA
Christmas Photo booth that is being sponsored by Tsai's Sporting Goods!


Ben:  This is humiliating!  I'm not all that old!

Ben: I think I may have even started to gray early but every since I did, I have
been viewed as old!

Ben: Maybe it is the beard!  Maybe I should shave it!

Ben: And now I'm Santa! Dang!

Ben:  And they want to pair me with the widow Ferguson to play Mrs. Claus of all things! 

I bet they told her I was a  widower too and now I bet she has got plans for us being a

couple!  I hate blind dates and fixes!

Star Wars Little Skywalker!

Hey Gang!

Now for my next Star Wars character--Anakin Skywalker!
If you didn't follow all the Star Wars movies, you might not know Anakin 
Skywalker.  He is the boy that will become Darth Vader in the prequel trilogy, 
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace-1999

                                            Jake Lloyd  

Jake Lloyd portrays the young Anikin Skywalker, a nine year old slave boy 
with great piloting skills, who dreams of becoming a Jedi. 

This action figure and another with a droid were released in 2000 for that movie.  
I purchase him after see him on someone's blog where they re-bodied him onto 
a Big Jim body.  I couldn't see from their pictures how good this re-body might be.
I haven't found a Big Jim body cheap enough to try it with.

The box says he is fully poseable.

So here he is out of the box...

I like his face and his articulation.  He does look serious.  

He can bend his arms legs and bend at the wrist.  

His head can only move side to side but not up and down.

He is taller that the older Stacie dolls.

He is about the size of the newer Stacie and only heart dolls.

As with many of the Hasbro action figures,  his shoe are not removable.  They are
molded onto the end of his legs.  That is probably why I saw him on a Big Jim body

With his shirt off you see what a guess is a necklace or tattoo worn by the character.

He can turn at the waist but with his molded on boots I would have to cut the 

pants off or try to remove the boots some how.  I might try it one day when I'm 

really feeling brave.

Here he is in a shirt that he will wear to school.  His name is Andy.

Here is Andy with Benny, his younger brother who is a re-bodied Hearts family baby.

Their parents where killed in a car accident and they will now live with their
maternal grandfather Dr. Kenobi.. They all have that same serious look in
their eyes.

Obi Wan Kenobi -1

Hey Gang!

My next Star Wars character is none other that Obi Wan Kenobi!  We met him

in the very first Star Wars movie!  Who can forget that!

Here is the action figure. The force is strong with this one!

1996 Hasbro Star Wars Collector Series Obi-Wan Kenobi Fully Poseable 12" Action Figure

So here he is!  Full Jedi gear! 

 Obi Wan: You want to ask question about me!

Ms. Leo: Oh no, here come the Jedi mind tricks!

Here is a close-up on his face.  He has a slightly

dark tanned complexion with an intense look.

 His cape has a gaberdine feel and not the jersey feel of Mace Windu's robe.

His Jedi robe/uniform  is longer than any of the other Jedi action figures which are
just below the knee.

The great thing about this guy is at he has a real long sleeve shirt and long pants
under his Jedi robe.  He has full length pants also. Both of these make his uniform
different from most Star War action figures.  He wears black and not brown
boots with his robe.

 His shirt opens in the back.

He has a slightly different body than the Mace Windu action figure.

 He doesn't have the articulation in the arms of the Mace figure. He doesn't
 have articulated arms or biceps,  Also, he doesn't have the swivel waist that
Mace has.His waist is one piece.I like that better.  His body is more like the
older GI Joe Heavy Duty body.

Warning Nude Doll

Here he is redress as his role in Johnston.  He us Dr. Benjamin Kenobi, President
of Johnston University.  Doesn't he look like he takes education seriously!
