May is Disney Month! Disney Store DISNEY FROZEN 2 DELUXE DOLL BOX set

 Hey Gang!

There is another Frozen 2 doll set. It is the set that includes Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, Mattias and The Nokk from the Disney store pictured below.

Hiding in the shadow of the corner of the box is Lt. Mattias. There are a few reasons it may appear that he is hiding. One is that he is in the corner. The other is that because he is the darkest doll that Disney has ever made, getting the lighting right for all of the dolls and the horse in this photo was a bit hard for them.  This set was selling for about $99 in the Disney store I'm told but they are asking a lot more for them on eBay($175-250).

I just wanted the new Lt. Mattias to add to my collection. I had the others in the set that I wanted. I was able to find him, without shoes for $12.  Here he is!

He has a great face which why I wanted him. His jacket details are mostly printed except for the belt and apelets.
With the jacket off. you can see he has the same body as most of the Disney store male dolls with the same articulation.
His pants are gray and Velcro in the back.
The inside is actually satin..
Here he is compared to the Jakks version that I purchased a Walmart when he was first released. You can see that the Jakks headsculpt and the Disney Store are very close.  The Jakks has molded on pants and shoes and is shorter.  The Jakks version is lighter in complexion too.
Compared to the older Steven doll.

Without pants
I do like the fact that Disney store males have painted on underwear/swimsuits,
The brothers Sterling!
Booker and Stringer.
I saw a makeover of the Jakks version into Morgan Freeman.

Obi Wan Kenobi #2 More Of My Star Wars character

Hey Gang!

I have two Obi Wan Kenobi action figures! One I have shown you.
1996 Hasbro, Star Wars Collector Series Obi-Wan Kenobi Fully Poseable 12" Action Figure
Played by actor Sir Alec Guinness.

But there is a another....younger version too!
Obi Wan Kenobi Attack of the Clones 2002 12" poseable action figure by Hasbro.
The actor who played this version of Obi Wan is Ewan McGregor
What I like is that he is a redhead!
I purchare him off eBay a while back but with many of my action figures and dolls,
I hadn't photoed him or posted him.
He does look a little like the actor.
Out of the box
He is a very nice action figure and I think his clothes can be used in other ways.
The boots are large can can be used for Ken and other action figures.
I didn't take photos of his lightsaber but it is pretty nice too!
Here are close ups of the face.  There are enough redheaded men in my opinion.
Beard matches his hair.  I believe on some men, the beard is darker.
The pale eyes and red hair are nice contrast.
Steven is doing another interview on local couples!
Steven: Today we are meeting the Westleys!

Steven: Art Westley and...
Art:Hello!
Steven: his wife Molly!
Molly: Hi!
Steven: So how did you meet? And how long have you been together?
 Molly: We met in college!
 Art: Twenty four years ago!
Molly:  Twenty six years ago! Ryan is twenty four!
Art: Hmmm!
Art: We were both science majors and living in the same dorm.  I was the RA and Molly
was a freshman.
Molly: He was one of the first people I met!
Molly: I thought he was very smart!
Art: She was all over me!
Molly: What!
Art: You know you were!
Art: You were always coming by my room!
You were the RA and were to handle all the problems of the floor! That is why
I was at your room!
Molly: Admit it! You were hot for me then and hot for me now! We've got the kids
to prove it!
We're Catholic! That's the reason for the kids. WOW! This was such a bad idea!
Molly: Cut, cut , cut!
Tune in next time!

I May Never Be An OOAK Artist. Head Swaps And Repaints!

Hey Gang!

I may never be an OOAK artist. You will never see me selling OOAK dolls
on line. I have been working on a few dolls off and on. I might not be professional
but I can change a few dolls in a manner I find more acceptable.

After repainting the eye of SIS Chandra (I don't like sideways eyes thing),
I didn't do anything other than change the bodies on my dolls for years!
I think I can do better so I might repaint her eyes again.

Then one fall day  while painting leave for diorama use, I decided after watch
a MyFroggyStuff video to repaint my ken doll!
Ryan repaint
Then I painted Jude's hair!

Jude Edwards is his name.  He need some tattoo and more piercings.  He is being
added to my Twenty-something crew.

First up is my second AA Chelsea boy!

I told you before that I was planning to paint his hair black.
Well I did paint his hair black!

The before doll.
The after doll
Noah! He is now on an SIS Courtney body.
 Dante' and Noah
 Dante': Welcome to Johnston Noah!
Noah: I glad to be here!

Ricky Repaint!

I saw this picture of Ricky dolls!

So I also repainted a Ricky doll with Black hair. I wasn't sure if I wanted
to paint him with black hair on blonde hair.  I had saw a picture online of \
Ricky done both ways but I opted for black.  I may do a blonde doll later.

So here is Ricky before.
Here is rick, now Zachery, after!
Zachery: Glad to meet you all!  I glad to be here too!

Rebodied Dolls

I have had Generation Girl Blaine and Derek for a very long time. Since even before
I started blogging.  They haven't got much blog time because of their body and the
gift giving arms. I have sold their bodies and kept their heads waiting for a new
body. So you won't get a before photo.

Rocker Derek has a older darker complexions so I knew I need that complexion in an
articulated body.

Blaine need a paler articulated body.

Fashionista Ken 2018 Cactus Cooler.
Now some dolls you want to redo and other dolls you kinda have to!  When
I found this doll in the stores, all seem to have the same problem with the hair line!

As you can see the hairline is not like it looks in the promos! Everyone I have seen
doesn't have a clean hairline.

So I knew I needed to clean it up but then I decided to do something different.
I knew that anyone who had a shaved bun the shaved would not look so solid.
It isn't the best job.  As I figure out how to do this better, he might get redone.

I also closed his mouth.  I didn't realize the nail polish had sparkles, so this might get
redone too!  Then he was rebodied onto an articulated body.

He is on a Disney Descendants Ben body.

He likes his new body.
Norio Nakashima
 Norio: Glad to be here!
Steven need to be articulated for stories and dioramas! I got the idea for how
to do this from Hey, It's Muff.
Here he is on his new body!
Steven: I am really looking forward to more stories now!
