More On The Tsai's

Hey Gang!

Three Tsai brothers have moved to Johnston after prodding from their cousin
Connie.

Connie: You guy have to be tire of moving all around!  We need to stick together!
Besides who other than family is going to sit for our rambunctious kids!

The Tsai family is originally from San Francisco.  Their family originally
came to the United States to build the railroads. Yes, they are Chinese but
they are Americans too!

One branch of the Tsai family moved to Oregon to farm.  The boys are from
that side...Blaine, Blake, Blair and little brother Blaidyn. They lived on an
fruit orchard.Their father grew the fruit and their mother was an artist.
They grown up spending a lot of  time outdoors. They like martial arts and
loved to fight as boys.  Anything was a weapon to them. They still fight as
adults! It is a little different! It is mostly verbal unless they are in the dojo!

Hae is married to Blake Tsai!  They are both teachers. They met while teaching at
the same high school.  He had been teaching longer than she did.  Blake offer to help
her get things organized and show her the ropes.
Blaine and Blair: Yeah, helping the new teacher!
Blair: That's so lame

Blaine and Blair
Blake: OK, You guys want some of this! I didn't think so! Don't make me take my tie
off!
Blake has been named teacher of the year... and met the Present! Hae was a
runner up.
They have moved to Johnston with their daughter.
Hae: Your brothers are just teasing!
Blaine and Blair: Like we would be afraid of him taking his tie off!

Blake and Hae have a daughter Meadow.
Blake and Hae have been taking care of their niece Willow for his brother Blaine
while he was on a long term teaching job overseas.

His wife died two years ago.  He has moved here for a position as an Art professor.

You have also met Kieu...

but you know her husband, Blair and the other brothers.

Connie introduced them...well kinda.
Connie: I invited her to a party I was giving.  I had invited Blaine and Blake. Let me tell
you it was really hard to get Blaine to even come!  I really thought that Blake or Blaine
would have been more her type than the care free Blair. Who knew? I didn't even invite
Blair! He just showed up! The next thing I knew she was moving in with him! Moving In!
Conservative Kieu was moving in before being married! Six months later they were down
the aisle.

Blair: I knew what I wanted her when I saw her! It was seeing her in traditional dress that
did it for him.
And she speaks five languages including Chinese. Blaine and Blake spoke Chinese
better being older. He has since gotten better.

Blaine and Blake: You fell at her feet begging! You followed her around the whole
party!
Ha, ha, ha! She made you get a real job too! No surfing all day!

Blair: What ever!
Blair is a father of three. He and Kieu have a son Blaisden, continuing the the BL names,
his mother calls him Rin, a daughter Mio.
Rin and Mio
The Tsai men love their hair! It is a part of their mother's culture.
She was Japanese.
and a daughter Cheri.

Blair has just opened a sporting goods store in Johnston. His love of sports
combined with his love of the outdoors while in college.  He got his degrees
in Phys-ed at West Chester University. The setting and the school let him know
that small town living was the life he wanted!

Youngest brother Blaise is still in college back in Oregon! He hasn't made a visit but
they are expecting him for Easter break!

OK, Thanks For Looking!

The Forces Collided For Johnston--Continued!

Hey Gang!
I'm picking up where I left off on The Forces Collided For Johnston

Thanks to D7ana of Philly Collector for reminding us all that November
is Native American Heritage Month.  So it is time to follow up on
Chief Running Bear.

When Edward Running Bear got off the phone he was a bit stunned!
Edward:  WOW!
Apenimon: Was that the President?
Edward: Yes it was!  The issue is finally settled!
Apenimon: What did the President say?

He said it was an embarrassment that the issue was drug out so many decades!
That we were to take immediate possession of the land and that others who
were cheated out of their land would be made whole too! He has a plan and
he will be sending people to work with us on it.

The chief was till looking at the phone is disbelief.
Apenimon: So what does this mean for you and our people?

Edward:  It means you get to build a longhouse,... it means
my horses will have space to roam,

....it means our people will have a community, it means
I'm moving and I have to tell my wife we are moving.

Edward:  I know your coming to build the longhouse will be a big time commitment
for you.  What will your wife say?

Apenimon:  She is from Pennsylvania.  She still has her bother and  second or
third cousins there.  She will say we are coming too and will want to move
her business there.
Rae

So Rae won't be the problem.  What will your wife Loraine and family say?

Edward:  I guess I better make that call!

OK, Thanks For Looking!

The Forces Collided For Johnston

You might remember that Johnston was deserted just two
years ago. Forces collided to jump start this town. So how did
this happen? When a Supreme Court decision came down that
part of the land the base was on belongs to the Iroquois, the
President was contacted.

Yes,...Thank you for calling me before you published your decision.

He saw this as a chance to right a wrong. He contacted the
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to get things done!

Hello General Powell.

Hello Mr. President.

General, the Supreme Court has decided in favor of the
Iroquois. This is a great opportunity to right a wrong
and to give the Iroquois back their land. We can open
the base on the rest of the land and work with the
Iroquois to build a new community based on trust
and respect. I want you, General, to put your best man
on making this happen. I want this base brought back
as a multi use technical training facility for the
military. I want some there who can build the type
of consensus that this town will need. I need
a “soldier” General!

I understand Mr. President and I will put my best man on it!

Thank you General Powell!
The President then made another call!

It is the President of the United States.

He wants to talk to you!

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff made his own call!

This is General Powell. We are reactivating Base Johnston!
It will be a multi military multi use technical training facility.
It will happen in six months.

General Lee: That soon!

Yes! I have an man from the army for this site. He will
come along later. Right now from your branch I need a stand-up
guy for this, I need a "soldier". I think we both know who we need
there! His father and I have talked about this for a long time.
It's his time. Make it happen!
General Lee: Yes Sir!
General Powell: Thank you!

Well...I'll have to tell him that looks like your fun in Paris
will be over son.

Not Hardly A Snow Day!

Not Hardly A Snow Day!

It is not a snow day in St. Malcolm! It is a balmy 87 degrees
and the water is warm too! Camille takes her morning
constitutional on the beach. She has always been health
conscious. You have to be to look
this good at her age!

She is a lucky woman. She has had a career, a loving husband
and family, great friends, and the opportunity to buy her
childhood home! When she was a child, her father was
the groundskeeper for this villa. Now they own it!

After her walk, she has breakfast. This is the last month before
the height of the tourist season in St Malcolm. Her family will
come and go from now until Little Christmas. After that, her
friends will come to visit. Camille loves to entertain and is
the perfect hostess! But who would not come to a beautiful
island like this! Cindy has returned to work the
tourist season at the Villa.

Cindy: Good morning Mrs. Laurent, What would you like for
breakfast?
Camille: What do you have today?
Cindy: There oatmeal and cereal, pastries, fruit,
eggs, ham, bacon, fish, toast, ….What ever you want!

Camille: I think I have coffee, toast, a fried egg
and one of your wonderful breakfast smoothies!

Cindy: Coming right up!

Camille received a laptop from her grandkids so that she can
stay in touch. She is now using it for business too. Besides
the villa, she has been asked to co-write a book by a friend.

Camille: Cindy that smells great! I am so glad you could
return again this year!
Cindy: I love it here! You’re a great boss!
Camille to her self-
Oh look! It is an email from Stephanie.

The email reads:
Hi Grand,
We have a snow day today and school is closed!

LL, Tre’ and I played in the snow.

See you soon,
Love and Kisses!
Stephanie

There is a photo attachment. Camille is getting really good
with the computer. She love surprising her familly with what
she can now do!

Camille to herself-
Oh my! They look like they are having fun! I have to send
her some pictures too!

Hi Stephanie,
Guess who I met walking the beach!
Love and Kisses,
Grandma

President Obama made a Stop in St. Malcolm to speak with
the Prime Minster. Camille met him walking on the beach!
