Mary Jane!

Hey Gang,

I hope to post pictures of all of my dolls.  It will take time because I do have a lot
of them.  I am work on categories. I need to complete them too!
I  have posted one of my Mary Jane Dolls. 

My Siobhan!

She is the sister of Fiona. 

I haven't listed the sisters and their family in my characters. I guess that is something

I will have to do.

Siobhan is actually the head of Mary Jane Watson-Kirsten Dunst from Spider-Man
2001 by Toy Biz.  She has had several bodies but this fashionista body I believe will
be her last!  Her original body was a awkward action figure body.

The arms were waaay too long and the hands and feet were too big!  I did
keep her dress, shoes scarf and bag!  My Lena can where the shoes.

My Mary Jane is a Barbie version!
I found this picture of the doll in the box online!

The one I found was nude and the body was in really bad shape.  I had found the dress

shoes, mask and gloves on another doll in the thrift store. So I had to buy them both.

I'm not going to use them for her but will use then later.

So here she is redressed!

 Her name is Molly and she is a very interesting woman!

 I am wearing the new dress Ms. Leo found for a dollar!

 Dominique did get this one!  I don't even think she knows it was here! 

 So let's keep this between us....OK!

My First Head Swap for 2012

My first head swap for 2012...

First let me say that I am so far behind. I lost my charger to
my camera on the 2nd and could find it until today! I was
crazy trying to find it. So with it in a good place now I can
catch up on posts and reading blogs.

My first head swap for 2012 is Siobhan.


Like her sister, Fiona, this is Siobhan’s second body swap
and she is on a Fashionista Raquelle body. You don't want
to know how scary their first body was.

Hey, what about me? Thanks to Miss_Lola_77, I have
a plan for you!

Her sister is glad to see her on an articulated body. I means
that they will have more sister time together.

The first thing she told me is this outfit is really not her.
" This outfit is ghastly!" Fiona didn't like it either.

I quickly found something more to her liking.

This is her favorite suit!

She is happy now! And her sister approves!

Next she informed me that Dominique was not happy with
some my decorating ideas. She suggested it would be better
for Dominique and me if she took over that project.

At first I was a little miffed. But I knew they had been
good friends a long time, Dominique felt she better
understood her taste, she was starting her business in
Johnston and Ms. D was getting on my nerves with all
her demands. It would be best!

Thank you! You saved my sanity!

There is enough business in Johnston for Siobhan and I.

Siobhan said I had some good ideas but that she thought it
was a little too dark for Dominique.


She made some changes that Ms. D seem to really like!

Ms. D is a little more relaxed now. Siobhan had Harold paint
the top part of the wall cream. She replaced the coffee table and
added a lamp, chest, standing vase and topiary. She also found
fireplace tools.

She even worked in that window. She also ordered her this
tea set so she can relax and have a cup of tea.

Ms. D: Do you think I can get another lamp for the mantel?
Siobhan: No, problem. I will need those family pictures so
that I can have them properly framed. I am ordering the
dining room chairs. After that, we will start on the upstairs.

Siobhan replaced the cabinet I order with a custom cabinet
in cream. I am started to dislike have competition!

Siobhan: We have had this much fun since Paris!

Dominique: Paris was soo much fun! Oh, I hear the guys.

Harold: I was starting to get worried about this job until
Siobhan signed on. No offence Ms. Leo but Dominique seems
to really like what she has done.

And she and I really work well together too!

Siobhan is a real pro!
I guess I'm just chopped liver?

Etienne to himself: I'm real glad this is working out! I dodged
another one! This women really knows her stuff
Etienne: Will there be more seating here?

I am ordering custom chairs as we speak. Dee, you are going
to love them! They are soo you!

I'm looking at Harold's blueprints and we are working on it
together.
Harold to himself: Too bad she married!

Ms. D is happy with the whole thing!

I know many doll collectors like the jointed bodies with full
articulation. I see that Mattel is now doing a doll that
can be posed in “100” different position. I still like the
smooth line of the original Barbie bodies or at least
some of the Barbie bodies. After not being completely
satisfied with many of the bodies the dolls I purchase
came with and read about how to do in the old Barbie
Bazaar magazine (I really miss that magazine),
I started attempting to put the heads of the dolls I
liked on the bodies I want them to have. I do it a lot
now and not just with Barbie. Some of my favorite
dolls now are combination of heads and bodies. I
guess for me it is about the face. (Key term--
Head Swapped Doll or HSD) It also allows dolls
that I couldn’t find clothes for to be able to wear
some of my favorite outfits and be partnered with
other dolls. Here are two of my favorite HSD dolls.
This is Fiona and her sister Siobhan. Fiona, the
blonde, has the head of the Toy Biz Eowyn on a
Mattel Velma from Scooby Doo/teen Skipper
body. I pick that size body because it was the right
complexion for the face, she (the doll) need to be
shorter than her husband who is shorter
than Ken size and it was on sale. Size and
complexion are the two things
that determine what head get what
body for me. I found the Toy Biz
body a little scary. Some heads won’t fit on
certain bodies and you have to play with it a
little. Also here is Siobhan who is the redhead.
She is a Toy Biz doll too. She is Mary Jane from
Spiderman on a Snow White body that I found
at a thrift store. I have changed out almost
my entire collection of female dolls that had
“gift giving arms” for straight
arms bodies. I haven’t done as many of the
guys. Head swaps can make
a dollar store doll a great addition to your collection.

He is an only child and get a little grumpy
at having company.

His wife Fiona and her sister are very close!
Fiona is teaching Siobhan how to play poker.

Fiona is quite good and plays for money with the crew
while on breaks from rehearsals or shootings.
Siobhan wants to invade the all-boys board members
poker parties. She still has a lot to learn!

Mitchell, Siobhan’s husband has also come along for the
visit. He is quite gregarious and the three don’t seem
to notice Ian grumpiness.
