I recently purchased Nigel North - Come Live With Me. I thought he might make a good boyfriend for my Street Fusion Jade doll.
He was listed as the 2008 Mission Moscow Takeo Mizutani Figure by Jason Wu. I reached out to a few Intregity Tosys collectors because his photo wasn't coming up under Takeo. I learned that he was Nigel North and that he shares a head sculpt with Miles Morgan.
He may have been mistaken for Takeo because he is described as Japanese. Here is what Nola got for Christmas! Nola knew she wanted to put more fitness into her routine. Nola got a skating outfit! She skated as a child and a new skating rink opened in the area!
Here is Nola in her skating outfit. She got it as a Christmas gift from a friend.
Her outfit includes a jacket with a scarf and mittens with kitten faces.
American Girl Winter Skating outfit was just the right size for Nola! She wears the head band as a scarf.
This is my Isabela doll. She is a hybrid of the Disney store body with the Jakks head. In combining the two dolls there are some differences. First, the Jakks doll doesn't have the side glancing eyes. That is why I chose that head. The Disney doll is articulated and why I decided on that body. There isn't too much difference between the two dolls as far as complexion goes, but the bodies are a little different. The Hasbro doll is smaller. It is harder to put the Hasbro dress on the Disney body. Both bodies are larger than Barbie dolls. The body, head, hands, and feet are larger also.
One of the challenges with a doll that is not Barbie size is finding clothes and shoes. Sometimes it's a matter of trying on everything you have to find some outfits and sometimes you have to buy things that will give them a look. I purchased this sweater on Etsy and the skirt is Barbie. The shoes are Ken doll deck sneakers.
Founded in 1995 by Percy Newsum,
Integrity Toys is a family-owned business based in Chesapeake City, Maryland. With the absolute lack of diversity in the doll industry at the time, Percy’s dream was to build a company that would display a balance, showing respect and appreciation to all cultures. His innovation in the industry did not only help children develop self-love but also fostered respect and understanding for all ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds.
In 2000, with the exceptional collaboration of Integrity Toys very first Creative Director and Designer “Jason Wu” along with the design team, Integrity Toys welcomed its first “collectible” collection and its Fashion Royalty concept.
