May is Disney Month! Disney Store DISNEY FROZEN 2 DELUXE DOLL BOX set

 Hey Gang!

There is another Frozen 2 doll set. It is the set that includes Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, Mattias and The Nokk from the Disney store pictured below.

Hiding in the shadow of the corner of the box is Lt. Mattias. There are a few reasons it may appear that he is hiding. One is that he is in the corner. The other is that because he is the darkest doll that Disney has ever made, getting the lighting right for all of the dolls and the horse in this photo was a bit hard for them.  This set was selling for about $99 in the Disney store I'm told but they are asking a lot more for them on eBay($175-250).

I just wanted the new Lt. Mattias to add to my collection. I had the others in the set that I wanted. I was able to find him, without shoes for $12.  Here he is!

He has a great face which why I wanted him. His jacket details are mostly printed except for the belt and apelets. 

With the jacket off. you can see he has the same body as most of the Disney store male dolls with the same articulation.

His pants are gray and Velcro in the back.

The inside is actually satin..

Here he is compared to the Jakks version that I purchased a Walmart when he was first released. You can see that the Jakks headsculpt and the Disney Store are very close.  The Jakks has molded on pants and shoes and is shorter.  The Jakks version is lighter in complexion too.

Belated Easter Outfit Post

 Hey Gang,

I know I missed Easter but I wanted show you what my dolls got anyway.

Easter Outfits!

A few of my doll have gotten new outfits.  I am sharing them with you and hope to let you know about some great sellers.

 I got his sets from a Etsy seller named H2H Dolls. She normally sells the reclaimed doll and outfit together but she agreed to sell me just the outfit. 

Set #1 

They went to KiKi! Here she is in the first one. It is two piece and has a top with a tulip long skirt.

I couldn't use the shoes that came with the set on her so I found some shoes in my collection.

Here she is in the second outfit. It is also two piece. I love the way these prints look on her!

These outfits can be mixed and matched...

and if you don't mind a short dress, can be worn alone.

The Shoes didn't work for my dolls so I will use them for dolls with smaller feet.

My dolls need jewelry to go with these outfits.

The thing I liked about these outfits are they fit on regular and curvy dolls!

This is the Comic Book Dress!

Emily-Ann has a kinda funky style and this dress works on her.

Each outfit was package separately in a baggie. I am showing the dress with the shoes here.

It is always good when you can wear sneakers with a dress.

Next outfit overalls.

I love the hand painted details and rips in these overalls.

Emily-Ann isn't sure about the hat and top but she lovers the overalls! Here she is wearing them alone.

She got what I'm calling the "Love Dress". This was from Ebay seller ams_doll_house..

This isn't a clothes maker site as much as a resale shop. I spotted this dress while surfing ebay.

I got this dress from Etsy seller UkleksaUS! I call it the "Daisy 2" dress!

UkeksaUS makes clothes for Barbie and Ken.

After seeing all these clothes come in, Miss D. is upset because she hasn't received any new outfits. I guess she needs to get something!

AliExpress Doll Heads!

 Hey Gang!

One of my new favorite places to buy things from is AliExpress! You can find thing that I used to be available plentifully on eBay at good prices. You can also find unusual and interesting things. Yeah, some of the shipping time is long but not bad for things that are hard to find.

One of those thing are doll and action figure heads. I got these three! One Disney and two world peacekeepers.

Disney store classic male heads fit on all the classic bodies. So for them is is just find a body at the thrift store  

World peacekeeper action figures are still available but some headsculpt are harder to find than others.

World Peacekeeper heads pop on to the body pretty easily. The complexion on most of the non AA figures are about the same. So, if I find and extract body fine, but body sharing is a good options.

Fashionista Ken 212

 Hey Gang!

Sorry I haven't posted in such a long time! I got really sick after the Flower Show and am just started feeling a little like myself.

I purchased the new Fashionista Ken #212.

Ken #212 is a new headsculpt. I would describe him as AA/Hispanic. 

 He has a left prosthetic leg. 

He has sculpted hair with  beautiful brown eyes and a great smile.

He wears a tie-die top.

This is also a new box for Barbie dolls!  It is not so difficult to open.

The side of the box has pictures of the other new dolls.

You can see his prosthetic leg in the shorts.

For a better look at the leg.

He comes on the type of Ken classic body that have sideways movement of the arms but not the legs.

If you are looking for a articulated body swap, I would suggest BRM AA Neon (the best match).

He needs a name and a story!

 or Fresh Squad Kahlil which is a little darker.

I'M BACK!

 Hey Gang!

I'm back and I had a great time! I wore myself out.  I need a week to rest! I am backed up on many things. My blog included. I will make an effort to catch up.

One of the highlights of the Flower Show for me was the exhibit done by Black Girl Florist! This was their first year at the show.  Here is a behind the scenes look at their exhibit being put together.

I hope they return next year!

I have pictures and videos that I took while at the show. I will be updating and posting on  my gardening blog The Northwest Gardening Assoc. of PA. ( I haven't posted there in 3 years. I want to keep my gardening posts separate from my doll posts.) So keep an eye out!
