Family Drama!

 Hey Gang!

It was a cloudy Sunday at the Simpson Arms Condominium.  Stringer is just finishing his tea! He is doing his Sunday morning stock trading.

Stinger: This stock is doing well!  Maybe I should purchase more...hmmm.

Yes! 500 hundred more shares of this one and that one!

Diana paces behind him. She has been upset since she read a letter that came in the mail yesterday.

Diana mumbles to herself. Diane: What to do, what to do, what to do!

no, no no.  

I can't do that.  But I must do something.

She walks over and stares out the window. Big sigh

Stringer: Do you want to talk about it?

She purses her lips together. Then she looks at him from the side of her eyes.

Diana: I don't know...maybe. 

She turns and leans against the window. I got a letter yesterday from an attorney for my ex-husband.

Stringer: Oh! Well, he's dead right!  What could an attorney want?

I told you he was dead... but he was just dead to me! That cheating $$#@&! I also told Darius he was dead when we separated.

Stringer: What?

Diana: Well he is dead now.  I was just ...a little premature!  Anyway, there is a will reading next month! Darius and his other sons are named. Darius didn't know his father was alive and left us.  He doesn't know his father had another family.  I don't know how he is going to react when he finds out.  I don't know how he is going to feel about me!

Stringer: Come over here and sit down!

She walks over and sits on the couch.

Stringer: You're going to have to tell him!

Diana: I knooow!

Diana: He is my baby! I fell in love with that face when they put him on my chest! I couldn't stand it if he was mad at me...disappointed in me....won't talk to me!

Stringer: Well he isn't a baby anymore! He is taller than you and me! He is level-headed which attests to how you raised him!  He loves you!  I of all people know that! If you talk to him like you are talking to me now, he will understand and forgive you!

Diana: You think so?

Stringer: I know so!

Stringer: Now, I will kiss it better!

Hanfu Fashions And Chang'e!

 Hey Gang,

I love seeing videos of the people from China wearing Hunfu Clothing!

I have purchased many Asian dresses/costumes for my dolls representing cultures. When I saw the new Over the Moon Chang'e doll, I knew I had to have her!

I like using Mattel promo photos because they do a better job at it than I do! But the promo photos don't show everything that I would like to see.  So that is when I use my photos!

So yes! The doll lives up to the promo photos!  We all know some dolls don't!

Her Hunfu-style costume is gorgeous! The fabric drapes beautifully, and it has great details. A few of the accessories are plastic, but that is acceptable to me.

I have seen others do YouTube reviews of the doll, but no one shows the body! So let's look at the body!

Body comparisons-Ceira on Wildheart Crew boy Chang'e and Esmae.

Chang'e's head isn't that much larger than a regular Barbie head.  She does seem to have more cheeks, which should be expected for this doll.

Chang'e's torso is longer, and arm joints are similar.

Leg joints are similar.

Here, the legs are about the same length but not as big.

Chang'e's feet are higher-heeled than Wild Heart Crew's.

Shoes for a doll without Barbie feet are important! She can wear Wildheart Crew shoes, Harry Potter girl high-heeled shoes, and some Monster High girl shoes.

Feet are a little wider.

The headdress is plastic and not real hair! Some have said it would have been nice if they had done real hair for the headdress. It would be a mess over time, and this was the best way to do it.

You could not have made it this elaborate and kept it this way. This way, she can be normal, or she can be fancy! 

Without the headdress, she is the height of most Barbies!
