She-Ra and the Princesses of Power Bow Doll!

Hey Gang!

I just found this guy in Target and I am in love with him!  She-Ra and the
Princesses of Power Bow Doll! First he is articulated.  With 13 "joints"- in the neck,
shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. This collectible doll is ready for
action-play and powerful poses! So says Mattel.

He has a cute face with large Anime eyes!  He sorta looks like an AA male 

Sailor Moon or Speed Racer!  

 The bow is kinda cool even though you can't fire it. And I am thinking about
ways to use the stuff he is wearing.

I love this complexion and his rooted hair. Many of the male characters have
painted on hair. Having real hair makes him really cool!

So let look at my doll!

The arrow doesn't shoot but can be used a decoration.  Th shoulder harness could be
painted and use for someone else.

The top and the pants can be used for one of my girls. The boots will need a serious
repaint to be used.

and ankles here. He stands 11 1/2 inches tall.

 For a guy, he is pretty poseable!

He is lighter than Clawd and thicker bodied but not as big a Hunter.

Like the other two he can wear ken shoes.

Redressed I am calling him Trayvon. He is a new teen around here.

Walmart.com Sales!

Hey Gang!

Don't just pick a doll in the store without checking Walmart.com!  Sometimes
you can get a better deal than the in-store price.  You can still arrange to pick
it up in the store.  The same item you are seeing there but at the Walmart.com
price.

I was in the store and saw Wild Hearts Crew Cori Cruize Doll with Style
Accessories. 

She was listed at $14.97. She was at Walmart.com for $9.97.
That's a $5.00 difference! So I looked through the dolls in the store. I  hid the
one I wanted, in an area of toys that I thought wouldn't be checked, you can always
switch at the checkout for a version you like better, and place my order and selected
pickup at the store for free shipping!  I got my doll for the Walmart.com price plus
tax. I am just waiting for my email to pick her up tomorrow.  I'll post pictures soon.

AA Puma Barbie!

Hey Gang!

I found an AA Puma Barbie at a local discount store for 19.99! I have been
seeing her on the net and her bee-stun lips appealed to me!

I thought that she was a version of mbili but she is her own face sculpt. The same

one used for Harlem Theatre Selma Dupar James.

I like her eyes and eyebrows better than the 20's look of Selma Dupar.  

The pink streaked hair makes her look youthful!  Her pink lips aren't too

pink but just pink enough to make her look fun.

 I have wrapped her braids in the back.

I am not such a fan of the outfit! The over size jacket is not my doll style.  

The print of Puma on the white pants is off scale. I don't like the large bow 

on the back of the sneaker or the ring either.  But on a scale from 1-10, I

would give this doll a solid 9!

So that is how I would describe her over all, she looks like a fun girl!So what would

 I didn't like this dress on the Curvy Barbie but it looks good on her!

The made to move body is a plus! It is great to have a doll that you don't have

to find a body for! Oh and her ears are pierced already too.

A.C. Moore closing all stores!

A.C. Moore closing all stores, up to 40 locations set to become Michaels

Another retailer is closing all of its stores.

New Jersey-based arts and crafts chain A.C. Moore will close its 145 stores, its parent company Nicole Crafts announced in a news release Monday. Up to 40 of the closing locations will become Michaels.

"For over 30 years, our stores have been servicing the creative community with a vast selection of art and craft materials, with one common focus, the customer," A.C. Moore CEO Anthony Piperno said in the release. "Unfortunately, given the headwinds facing many retailers in today's environment, it made it very difficult for us to operate and compete on a national level."

According to the company, plans for the closings will be shared in the upcoming weeks and the A.C. Moore website will stop accepting online orders Monday. Previously placed orders will still ship, the company said.

Pick Up Dolls I Missed Out On!

Hey Gang

There are a few dolls I missed out on. Some never showed up in my area.
And others I just didn't get when they were in the local stores.  I have add these
new dolls to my dolly universe.

First up is WWE Naomi!

I found her at a store called Forman Mills.  They are a discount clothing store.

They also carry some household items and other things like toys. I was there looking

for some things to wear on vacation and I saw her there. I had been looking

for her when she came out but never found her in my area. She comes with

the two outfits you see above.  It is rare to get two outfits with a doll so this

was nice.

Her body is different from Barbie.  She is muscular and that I guess is a good thing
for a fighter!

Her feet are larger than Barbie so she can't wear Barbie shoes. I have found other
shoes that I had that she can wear.  I did find these gold shoes with bows that she
can fit. Depending on the outfit she can wear some Barbie clothes.

Many people on the web have rebodied her but for now I will keep her on this body.
The doll looks more like Jennifer Hudson to me!

I got her a Target for $3.00.I have been admiring her for a while. Here lip paint
need help. Not sure if she was an error or a return that someone messed with but
I had to correct her lip paint.

 The flowered dress is nothing special and neither are the shoes.  She will get a
new made to move body when I get a chance.  At $3.00 for the doll, I can afford
to get her a new body when I find one.

Next Up is Marvel Rising Patriot!

I purchased Marvel Rising Patriot  action figure at Forman Mills also! He was $7.99!
I think he was more because he is articulated.

He is shorter thanks Ken dolls, even the Slim Kens.

 He has blue hands that makes it hard for making him look normal!

They pull of and can be replaced.

 He is broader than Ken dolls especially the slim dolls.

 He has larger feet than Ken.
