Facebook Purchase! Update!

Hey Gang! 

After reboding my Todd doll on to a Keyshia body I did miss 

having a smaller Todd doll.

The price of Todd dolls  on ebay lately are out the roof!  I've 

seen them sell for 50.00 and up! Thank goodness for Facebook!

I was able to find a wedding party set for 40.00!

They came in the mail today! WooHoo!

I am trying to figure out if this new Todd will be a

younger brother or a new character.

I have thought about changing his hair color to black and not the 

red/brown that it is now. We will see!

Jacob Growing Up! --Update!

Hey Gang!

I decided that I would use the Duck Hunter body for Jacob. I
Thought you might like to see his progressions.

Ultimately, I decided that I didn't like this body either! So, here is where he is. He is on a 

Fresh Squad Daniel body.  It works way better and it has more clothing options.

New Action Figure At Toys R Us!

Hey Gang!

I wanted to share with you and action figure that I just found at Toys R Us.
I have taken this pictures and posted to my blog with my new tablet!
It takes better pictures than my old table.  I might not need to carry
my camera with me everywhere!

So here he is!  He is the Blue Box Duck Hunter.  He is an excellent find!

Here is a close up on his face!  He comes with some great accessories too.

He has a great dog friend hunting dog!

A rifle. 

A real and an action figure size duck call and binocular.

Now guess how much?

Can you believe it!

So I bought him!  I'll post pictures out of the box later!

Speaking of the box, they make more action figures but I only saw this one there.

Something New For Nola!

Hey Gang!

One of my first purchase for the new year was pants for my Nola (Big and
Beautiful Dasia). Guess who I purchased them from?  That's right!
Vanessa of Van's Doll Treasures.  She is selling very nice Dasia  clothes.
So if your Dasia needs clothes, check her out!

I purchased the beige hound's tooth pants and the palazzo pants! First let me say
that I am a big fan of palazzo pants.  There are a few in my wardrobe!  So to
have my dolls wear something that I enjoy wearing is a plus!

The pants are navy blue with a pink pinstripe!  The perfect combination of masculine and
feminine!

 She pairs it with a pink sweater.  

It is her pink for the love of her live Macy's cancer sweater.  

I removed the patch.

The pants are really well made!

 Seams are serged! 

 Here she is in her hound's tooth pants!

 They are a slimmer fit.  I paired them with a white shirt and a peach sweater/jacket!

 She sometimes adds a hat!

I still need shoes for Nola.  She needs brown and black pumps.  Any suggestions?

BTW, there are many accepted names and spellings for hound's tooth.

I Won The Giveaway!

Hey Gang,

I won a giveaway!  I won the giveaway from Phyllis of A Day In The 

Life Of My Dolls. I won an AA Made To Move Barbie. Woo Hoo! 

I received my Made To Move doll a during the weeks I was preparing

for the Flower Show, so I didn’t get a chance to post her. She also arrived 

before I had seen this doll in my area and that made her more of a treat. 

  

So thank you Phyllis!

I know many of you already have her and have posted pictures of her 

posing in all her different positions, so I would not. What I would like

 to say about her outfit and the outfit of the rest of the dolls in the line is 

that they didn’t go overboard with the pink.

That is nice for a change.  It is also a well made outfit too.  

I think they did a great job on the hair color also.  It is nicely bronzed.

This doll has a little slim figure….a more athletic looking body than other 

Barbie.   She has a smaller bust while having a fuller wait and thinner hips.  

So, I guess yoga fits.  She feels like a dancer!

I like her so much that I added two more to my collection!

I have decided that she will now play the part of Lisa Laurent, one of the 

fraternal twins.

New Keisha and old Keisha in swimsuits.  

I like the calmer makeup of the new Keisha.  The new Keisha is a Asha head-sculpt
while the old Keisha was a Shani head-sculpt. Sadly, the Shani head-sculpt is still
under used.

I think my new Keisha will be a dancer!  She embodies the grace of movement of
her mother and
