Thrift Store Find!

Hi Gang! I'm Back!I had a great week of plants and gardening. But my week was
not soo full that I couldn't get in a thrift store! I paid $10.00,
which is more than I normally pay for pre-owned toys.

Sailing over the horizon to protect the freedom of the world
is this thrift store find!

Windsurfing GI Joe!
I saw this guy at the bottom of the bin and I couldn't pass him
up... of maybe I just needed a dolly hit! LOL!

I guess you can't have enough men around! He came with
these items and he is almost complete. His body says 1996.
If you have info on it, please post it on comments so we
all can share.

Doesn't he look like he is on a mission! He has a strong face!

I like all the gear but I don't know if I really need it.
He is missing the missiles and radar dish. They may have
been in the bin but because I didn't know to look for them,
I didn't.

He came with the wetsuit that has a small tear that I
can fix. Oh, I said can I didn't stay will or when.

I am now switch to white background for stats
and comparisons!

About the Joe!**

He is tall than most GI Joes. He has more of a
Action Man body. Action Man was big in the 1990-2004.
Action man had all kinds of neat stuff. To me, it would seem
wise to use some of that same stuff and body for Joe.

Older Joe and Newer Joe!
Compared to the older Joe, Windsurfer is taller.

He is closer to the height of Ken and WorldPeace Keepers.

He has the large Joe hands like Action Man figures too.

I will have some difficulty with dress shirts!

Oh yeah, he has power thighs too! So Basic guy pants for him.

One bummer, he has painted on feet shoes.

Warning! Nude Action Figure!

OK, now it is time for the money shot!

Close-up!

Extras! Windsurfing board

Missiles and dish missing from the front!
Feet lock in here!

He sits in here!

Thanks for looking!

"Time for the money shot." LOL! Welcome back. From the knees up he is so buff, but his lower legs look so much smaller in comparison.

I like that permanent smirk he has.

Thanks dbg of BDE, Chynadoll, Verona, Hey, It's Muff, Frannie, Georgia Girl and Vanessa! Glad to get back to my normal swing of things. I had a great week and I got in some dolly finds too! You guys have done so much last week that it will take me two weeks to catch up with all your post! But I will!

dbg of BDE, are you letting know that Windsufer Joe is his official name? If so, that good to know.

Verona and Frannie thrift stores are a great way to up the dolls in your collection. If you can find a guy, that is a plus! I might visit more stores this weekend and yard sale season is coming!

Hey, It's Muff, "the money shot" what can I say, I'm a cut up! His calfs aren't all that skinny. That might have been my picture taking that made them look that way. Sorry!

Chynadoll and Vanessa , I will have to see if I can use the gear in some kind a way or if it is just taking up space. It nice to have it. Vanessa, it is nice that he is not so short!;)

Georgia Girl, I was thinking about setting up something just for my gardening stuff. I don't know if that would be too much work or how often I would update that site. I will post a few pics here for folks to see next week.
