Another Grail! Bjork Top!

 Hey Gang!

I got another Grail...The Bjork top! The Bjork top is one of the most sort after items of the Fashion Fever collection!

The jeans in the set are nondescript but the top with its print of  women with dark hair and 

flowers on a striped background which considered to look like the Icelandic singer/recording artist Bjork!

Bjork came to my attention at the 2001 Oscars when she wore the outrageous Swam Dress!

Bjork has been know for her unconventional wardrobe.  The photo below is from her Homogenic  album cover.

You might have seen and OOAK Barbie version her in this outfit from a doll makeover 

contest that was featured in a Barbie magizine. You can read more about it on the

blog  Bjork Zine-The Björk blog that reads like a magazine.

Working on the Project!

Hey Gang!

It way past time we checked back in on the University!  If you have seen the previous post, here is the link!

Darien: I want each group to work on their project separately at home on Google Docs and then work together as a group.

So the class broke into groups to work on their group project. The older students 

gravitated to each other.

Jose: I work a twelve hour day on Tuesday's. I won't be able to meet with you on that day

but any other day will work. 

Lynette: I am good any evening! Keyarah what about you? 

Keyarah: So I work the weekends and weekday. I am only available nights and I have a 

daughter and may need to get a sitter. I will need to know in advance. 

Jose: I have a family too Keyarah, so I know the challanges! The fact they we can do this on Google

Docs will work for me.  I am normally up to 10:30 and up at 5:30.  So I will check for new item before I go to bed and when I wake up!

Jamie: I like doing research!  I will be glad to handle that part of the project. 

Morgan: OK, I really good at writing. Soo if........

Emily-Ann: I think we can make this really interesting!  We can start by brainstorming

ideas!  

Phoebe: That sounds great!  I'll write it all down for now but we can do the rest  of our brainstorming on Docs.

 Darien went around to all the groups to see how they were doing and to answer any questions.

Darien:  It looks like your group is progressing well!

Ms Leo: So gang one of the clubs I belong to is working on Google Docs. It is my first exposure to it.  I am finding it interesting thus far.  I'll let you know how it works for us.

Barbie Careers Pop Star Doll

Hey Gang!

One of my latest purchases is Pop Star Doll  Barbie!

I had to have her! I kinda think I am in love with this headsculpt even though she 

glances to the side and has a bent arm.  I think this one is called Neysa. I think I 

have three dolls thus far with this headsculpt.

The glitzy outfit doesn't hurt either!

She comes with a microphone and stand.

So My Photos!

Now as for a microphone and stand, I don't think the stand is well done.

They should have just made it silver to silver to match the microphone.

 The stand being sparkle purple with a clear base doesn't really work.

I just love her face and her eyes are brown.

 The purple shoes are cute too!

 Note: with minium play, the skirt will creases.

The skirt does have what I guess is fake panties under it.

So the first thing I had to do was rebody her! I went to my body box and
found this one!

 And the body works!

 Although the bodies are different the clothes still fit.

Her hair is a purple pink!  Not as pink and Emily-Ann and not as purple as
Stella!

Johnston University!

Hey Gang!

It is the first day or the semester and the first day of class for 

Propessor Darien Templeton.

Darien: Good morning! This is room 103 and this is Introduction to Women 

in the Theatre. My name is Professor Darien Templeton.

I'll passing out my syllabus which contains my bio, office numbers and hours, 

along with the schedule for the class and the name of the book 

we will be using!

She handed her copies of the syllabus to the young lady in the

first seat.  

Darien: Please pass these back.

Keyarah past the pile of papers behind her!

I will take the roll and and if you can tell me why you're taking 

the class and what is your experience with the Theatre.  We will

start with you. and pointed to Stella.

Stella: So my name is Stella Starling...yeah, you would think with 

that name that I would have to be an actress, or a dancer at a  

gentlemen's club!  (Everyone laughs!) But I am a journalism major and 

this is and elective for me. Oh and I thought it would be interesting.

Lynette: My name is Lynette More and I'm a business major and this is an 

elective for me.

My name is Jose and I am completing  my BA in nursing.

This is an elective for me too and I am hoping to impress my wife and daughter
that I am not a macho caveman.  (They all laugh again!)

Phoebe, Emily-Ann and Morgan stated that they were art majors and it was

a requirement for them.

The syllabus arrive to them at that point and they 

passed them on.

Keyarah: My Keyarah Drummon,  and I am also a business major.

(She and and Lynette look at each other realizing that the will probably 

have classes together.)

and it an elective for me but a just love the theatre and have made it a point
for my daughter and I to attend plays.

Jamie and Lula were but teaching major and this was and elective for them.
