Body Play!

 Hey Gang,

As a longtime doll collector and sometimes diorama/story maker, I have to replace/swap out a few doll bodies.  Jacob has seen many bodies until he now reside on the Fresh Squad Daniel bodyFresh body.

and Dominque has seen her fair share of bodies too! She is now on an old SIS Grace body

By the way, Ms. Leo has a different/new laptop and I'm playing with what it can do.
I can put text on pictures. Nice!
Even Vanessa has had a few bodies!
Original
Creatable World
Side by side!
BMR articulated body!

I have want to do some things for Annyah!

She started out on a fairy body.

Then she was on a Stacie body which was too light.

I am about to trying her on a Team Stacie Gymnast body which is darker than the regular Stacie body but not as dark as the boy Stacie body she has been on lately

OK, for the set! Mattel Promo Photo.

I took off the plastic cover so that there isn't glare. With plastic removed!
Sweat suit
Hoops
Bodysuit
Trophy
Original Stacie and Gymnast body comparison.
Hands are different!
The Arm!
She has different arms than most Stacie dolls but sadly, the arms move up and down and not sideways.

I have had her recently on a Team Stacie boy doll body which is a dead-on match for her
head but has a bent arm
Now all she needs is a little TLC from sitting in the doll box!

I plan to keep all three bodies handy and hopefully I will be able to move her head from body to body as needed.

OK Thanks For Looking

Elizabeth Taylor!

 Hey Gang!

Today is her birthday-- Elizabeth Taylor!

I posted photos of her when she passed in my post-- Her Time In The Sun Is Over! which was a take-off on A Place in the Sun.  I love the photos that I did for that post because she was in the the shadows and out of the sun.

It was a happy accident.

She was also in photos with my Divas when the new dresses I ordered off of ebay came in. She was rebodied on a Disney body with her blog name of Liz and personality in Five Lovely Ladies In New Dresses!

Liz in her dress!
The Divas in their dress before Liz and Ms. D. got into a argument and Ms. D had her banned from the blog. That is why you haven't seen her since 2013! She is no longer banned and back in the blog.
She is finally documented on the blog!

A short snippet on Lix Taylor from Wikipedia:

Dame Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor DBE (February 27, 1932 – March 23, 2011) was a British-American actress. She began her career as a child actress in the early 1940s and was one of the most popular stars of classical Hollywood cinema in the 1950s. She then became the highest paid movie star in the 1960s, remaining a well-known public figure for the rest of her life. In 1999, the American Film Institute named her the seventh-greatest.

Born in London to socially prominent American parents, Taylor moved with her family to Los Angeles in 1939. She made her acting debut with a minor role in the Universal Pictures film There's One Born Every Minute (1942), but the studio ended her contract after a year.  She was then signed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and became a popular teen star after appearing in National Velvet (1944). She transitioned to mature roles in the 1950's when she starred in the comedy Father of the Bride (1950) and received critical acclaim for her performance in the drama A Place in the Sun (1951).  To read more, go to the wikipedia link

There are a few releases of Elizabeth Taylor doll by Mattel with the Elizabeth Taylor face.  I purchase the White Diamonds doll when she was released back in 2000 because she was on sale with a makeup purchase that became a Christmas president.

White Diamonds!

They did a really great job with the eyes!
There is also the Father of the Bride doll!

She looks like the fashion Icon that she is!

Mattel Fashions!

Hey Gang!

Ms. D has been pestering me about purchasing some of the new single fashion
packs Mattel has out.  I have gotten her anything new lately so she feel she
is due!
Ms. D:Yes, I am due! More clothes and blog time!
If you haven't seen the items here are a few.

I recently purchased two of the items above.  The live, love, laugh top and the
print skirt.  I also like the black and white stripe and polka dot dress below.

Unfortunately, the  dress was too tight for the belly button body that Ms. D
is on.  I guess it is made for the smaller new Fashionista dolls.

There wasn't enough hip room to get her in the dress.
Ms. D: Now you know it was the dress and not me.  I eat like a bird! Why I'm still
runway weight!

So: Rwanda got the dress because she is on a Disney body which is smaller in the
hips! Rwanda is the name that I have give this Fashionista(BCN36CJY45) doll.
I just finished watching again Hotel Rwanda and decided I liked the name.
Ms. D did get the CJV75 Fashionista dress!
Ms. D: It is a little short but I can make it work!
She also wanted this top too. Thank goodness she was able to fit it!

Ms. D: So many graphic tee are for teens but this one is not just for teens!
I feel like I can see a bright future when I wear this!
Next I purchased this set with a Native American print.  I purchased it with Nakoma
in mind. Granted, most Native American prints don't have a lot of pink in them but
it still is kinda cute.  The beige boot are a great plus.

Here she is in the outfit!  Nakoma didn't think the purse was really her.  I'll have to
find a purse to go along with the outfit.

Nakoma: I really like the pink vest!
This outfit because it is not for Fashionista is big enough for belly button bodies.
Nakoma will also get the print single skirt too.

I plan to change the pink piping. I might make it black or purple or turquoise.
