Isabela Redressed!

 Hey Gang!

This is my Isabela doll.  She is a hybrid of the Disney store body with the Hasbro head. In combining the two dolls there are some differences. First, the Hasbro doll doesn't have the side glancing eyes and that is why I chose that head. The Disney doll is articulated and why I chose that body. There isn't too much difference between the two dolls as far as the complexion but the bodies are a little different. The Hasbro doll is smaller. It is harder to put the Hasbro dress on the Disney body. Both bodies are larger than Barbie dolls. The body, head, hands, and feet are larger also.

One of the challenges with a doll that is not Barbie size is finding clothes and shoes. Sometimes its a matter of trying on everything you have to find some outfits and sometimes you have to buy things that will give them a look. I purchased this sweater on Etsy and the skirt is Barbie.  The shoes are Ken doll deck sneakers.

This combo is a is Kari Michelle top, a skirt that part of a fashion pak from Dollar General, tights from Etsy, and Ken sneakers.

One of my favorite things that I purchased was this outfit from Etsy.  It is very classy. I need to make her some jewelry to go along with it.

Every girl needs a great pair of jeans. This little outfit is great for running to the market or dropping in on a PTA meeting.
