I Really Want These Dolls!

Hey Gang!

I had seen the twins Max and Marie on the
Target Website but they are nowhere to be found. You can't
order them on their website.  It says that they are only available
in stores.  Sadly, the number that they use for these dolls is the
number that they use for all Barbie Sisters Packs.  So if it say
that they have it in a local store, they more than likely have
other Barbie Sister Packs and not these dolls. Bummer!
If you read this post anywhere other than

It is a fake!!! Run!!

Official Mattel Photo

A new blogger, Christine La Bella, posted about these
dolls on her blog Champagne Barbie.   This blogger
is from Australia!  My Australian follower always
complain of not getting things first!  Well guys, you
beat us/me this time!  Go get 'em!  and post
pictures

I quickly went to Flickr to see if anyone else had
pictures of these doll now that I saw hers.  There
weren't many pictures yet! I found a photo by
Eternal Snow interesting.  Prior to now, I had
heard mentioned that these twins were Stacie size.
Yes, they are Stacie size, but they aren't the new
Stacie size but the other 1990's Stacie size which
is a smaller doll. I think the cut of their clothing is
what makes them look taller.

I don't think that this is a bad thing that they
are smaller. I  just a little disappointed.  I would
have liked for Mattel to give the new Stacie
some friends.  Because they are the 1990's
Stacie size, that mean there are more clothing
out there Marie size and some outfits out
there Max's size too!  I do hope that do an
AA version of these dolls too!

OK, Thanks For Looking!

Hello from Spain: I love Max and Mary. I saw these dolls in the Barbie Champagne blog. In my country these dolls are not for sale. I'm going to buy them online at Amazon. They are very cute. Keep in touch

Oooo marie is a stacie from 2010. When you mentioned 1990 i thought stacie with the frizzy light hair because I have a ton of those stacie from the 1990s - i should do a comparison myself. I really dislike max and marie bent stiff arms though!!!

Is there a walmart? Because our kmart has lots of these dolls now!

There is a little girl whos also from australia that did a little review of the max and marie.

These are cute! If they make an AA version, they are coming to my house. :)

Looks like there is a first time for everything! Our stores are really odd in what they get and don't get. Thanks for the link - it's great to know about another (Australian) doll blog.

Wow, I didn't know they were smaller. That's very interesting. I wonder why they went that route? I'm okay with it. There were many boy dolls in that size, so that is a real plus. I haven't been looking for dolls, so I don't know if they are here or not.

I am glad they are small because that means there is a possibility they will fit my 1:12 dolls. :-)

Thanks for your comments Fricskamacska, Marta, Christine La Bella, RoxanneRoxanne, Carrickters, Vanessa, V. and The grandmommy! They are on a couple of stores webpage but they all say that they aren't available yet! That doesn't sound good.

Fricskamacska, I hope they make it to where you life too. Post pictures if they do!

Marta, if you find them post pictures!

Christine La Belle, think they will fit the clothing. The body on these does might be too tan for a switch but the 2010 might work nicely. Please do a comparison!

RoxanneRoxanne, somehow I don't think we will see an AA version. We can hope. Keep hope alive!

Carrickters, I am glad to connect you two! I hope to see pictures of these dolls on your blog!

Vanessa, I don't understand it either! I love to know who is making the decides things at Mattel. Maybe it s a monkey smoking a cigar! LOL!

V. They might be in your area!

The grandmommy if you get them post pictures too!
