New Doll!

I received a head in trade from Tracy of Dolls and the City. It is a
doll that I wanted for a while now. So, I can cross another off my list!
Thanks Tracy!!! The head I receive was of the Mystery Squad Kenzie.
If you would like to see the rest of the dolls in the squad minus Barbie
click here. For Barbie click here.  So, I think she is leaving
Doll and the City and joining us here in Johnston but wait until
you read it on Tracy's blog to know for sure.

The Kenzie doll was one of the few times that the Lea head sculpt
was used for a non asian doll. I think that using the lea face made her
the most interesting of the bunch. Her kinky/curly hair made her not
a favorite of doll collectors (web talk) but I always loved
it about her.

I have seen her on her original body which is a teen skipper with
poseable arms (like used for the smaller Generation Girl dolls)
and I have seen her on the Liv doll body which I thought was
interesting.  I had intended to put her on a Liv body but when
she arrived she told me something different.  She is on a
Fashionista Rachelle body which has the pink undertones of
Kenzie's complexion.  On this body she seems stronger and
self-assured
I will have to add some styling lotion to her hair.  It looks a little
dry.

She love her hair and would change it for the world!

I think she likes shoe but doesn't like to wear them much. She is a
back to nature kind of girl and he does eat meat.  She has strong
opinions about things.  She is keeping the name Sydney but with a
different spelling!

I'm SOO glad you got her ok, thank you for being so patient with me. :) There's so much going on here, I haven't had any time to devote to my dollies and wanted this one to go to a good home.

Yes, Sidney (was her name on Dolls & The City)moved away and I will blog that she's moved to Johnston town. After trying to make "it work" with Byron Dupart, she moved away to start a new. The only difference is, the Tommy doll I purchased from you a while ago (aka Tyson, Sidney's son) will actually be another character's son. I know...another change, LOL.

Well, Kenzie looks GREAT in your town and I think she's going to fit in perfectly! :)

HAPPY EASTER!!

Thanks Marta, Verona and Tracy!

Marta and Verona, I think she is so pretty! She will fit in well here!

Tracy, I think she is happy and I'm sure that Tyson and Byron will live to tell new stories. That is the great thing about dolls, you can always start over new if you want to! Thanks again!

I hope everything works out for you and you can post and play with your dolls soon! XOXO

I think her hair is awesome! Based on how you've introduced her I can kinda see her in one of those Twilight movies. Like maybe she's a werewolf or werecat.

Congrats on getting you had on your wish list. I have always loved her hair. I love your scenes! I can never seem to find the ones that are in scale without paying an arm and a leg for them. Lol! Looking forward to seeing Sydney on her new journey in Johnston.

Happy Easter! ; )

She's beautiful and so real! I love her!! A question: I have a Snow White doll head, I'd like to put her onto a body but she has these hard creepy dirty hair, as if she had sprinkled her head of hair gel. How can I clean her hair?

Oh forgot about control spam: until December was a free choice whether connected or not, from January became mandatory. I opened the blog in August / October and I could choose to have or not this option. A friend of mine who has opened his blog in January, found this thing between the functions of the blog

Thanks Hey, It's Muff, limbe dolls, Brini, Georgia Girl, Sergio, and Heather!

Hey, It's Muff, Wow! Now I can see where the great dioramas come from. You have a great imagination! But I think you're trying to get me to purchase a monster high doll ;) She will be a teen but I don't think she's a wereteen. I guess I have to give her a mystery.

Yeah, the scribe it back but still no spell-check in composing post. I guess I should wait a little longer.

limber dolls, I will try to make her happy and have fun too.

Brini, I really like her on this body. She is sitting out as inspiration.

Georgia Girl, I got that one a Wal-Mart. It was $3.00 marked down to $1.50. I always look through their frames, pictures and poster. Check the 5 and 10 stores!

Sergio, thanks for the info! Snow White... hmmm. Doll hair is more fabric than hair. So many dolls have stiff(gelled to death) hairstyles. I would shampoo it and sit her hair in fabric softener to make it controllable.

Heather, you would be surprised! She is pretty strong willed.

I thought I posted a comment the other day..hmm

This is one of my favorite dolls from my favorite line. I have 2 of her now. My sis-in-law gave me hers (gotta love it). I can't wait to see how things go with Sydney. She is an awesome trade :O)

LOL, nope, I'm not trying to get you to buy a Monster High doll. Nope, not at all. *whistling innocently*
