Let's Play Name That Doll!

 Hey Gang!

I was playing a game called "It's All In The Game, The Game Of Fun" on Facebook.  The game poster, Cleo JonesCleo Jones, puts up a partial picture of the doll (normally a doll from a movie or a celebrity doll and you have to guess what doll it is.

I will share one of the posts that I played! This is the picture that was posted.

I guessed wrong. These two dolls look alike. Also, I needed to use the correct name and didn't do that either.

Ken as Rhett Butler-Gone With The Wind 1994

Inside the box.
Ken as Henery Higgins- My Fair Lady 1995
Inside the box

Both of these dolls are part of the Hollywood Legends Collection. One has light brown hair and one has dark brown hair. They both portray the look of an older male. They are from an era where style was everything!  I will admit that one of the reasons that I purchased these dolls with an eye for the clothes.

The dolls use the head Allan/Ken short hair head sculpt of 1991. The head started out as Allan from when Allan married Midge but when Allan was taken out of production, this head became the new Ken doll and Mattel switched back and forth between this head and the Super Star head.

So let's give them a look!

They both have nice hats and shoes too! The dapper dudes!

Hats off!

Rhett!

Rhett comes with a cape
and tails!

Under his jacket he wears a vest with a pocket chain but no watch. His pocket really works.
Sadly, he has a shirt/pants combo with an attached bowtie.
I am assuming this is a spats look with socks.

Next is Henery

Henery comes in a three-piece suit!
Sadly, the vest shirt, and tie are attached.

Warning! Nude Doll!

Henry has an articulated body and Rhett has the "gift-giving arms body.

OK, Thanks For Looking!

Thanks for your comment D7ana! I love looking at the old movies and their fashions! I also like the fact that these are older males. What roles do I give them in my doll world?

I retired during Covid and haven't felt the need to dress up much anymore. I haven't put a foot in heels in about four years! LOL! Maybe my dolls can do it for me!

You're welcome, Ms. Leo! Your older gentlemen could be teachers or clergy or retired military. Parents? You'll find fun positions for them. They'll tell you, lol.

Congratulations on graduating from heels! Your dolls would be happy to wear them for you. Maybe? I think some of them might give an eye roll or two.
